Small bag Good quality
It has a better quality of seed than a cheaper brand. The price is better than my local big box stores. However, this is a very small bag

Cockatiel loves this too
So I have 3 Budgies, 1 Rosy Bourke, and 1 Cockatiel. I really don't like having more than 1 type of food for the birdies. There woud be one for the cockatiel and another for the rest. This hits the needs of both and it really makes things easy for me in terms of space. They all love it and I'll say it's a good investment as long as you have another seed mix that you're mixing it with.

Parakeets happy - after adjustment time
My parakeets completely ignored the pellets as they did every other fresh food offered also. Not even 1 curiosity nibble. Only ate/were used to an all seed diet it seemed. I knew they should/could eat a much wider variety of food suitable for parakeets than just the seeds. Decades ago I had had a parakeet that loved to eat everything I offered extra right out of my hand. So their behavior perplexed me and their refusal to try anything new/fresh even more. So I read other owners experiences for a more varied diet approach and found out this behavior isn't really that uncommon. For myself/my birds I decided to keep trying to get them to eat more than seeds. I left the seed feeder empty for about 3 hours every morning and only had the pellet feeder available during that time. At first they waited for the seed feeder to be refilled, ignoring the pellets completely - pretty loudly protesting too. The third day they started to shred the pellets almost to dust but at least they actually nibbled on them. That went on for about another week; eventually the shredding stopped and they started eating the pellets and by now (almost 3 months in) that feeder is complete empty in 2 days at most. Since then I have both feeders available/filled and they are as keen on the pellets as they are on the seeds. Now they fuss loudly when that feeder is empty - even when the seed feeder is still available/filled. I will definitely buy the fruitblend pellets again when the pellets run low.

ZuPreem smart select daily bird feed
My baby parakeets are so much more content after switching to this food vs the food offered by the seller pet store. "Here's what we feed". That food was mostly seed only. While my birds settled into their new home, there was constant pulling/preening feathers, constantly eating and definitely appeared malnourished. Three weeks later, they are happy and healthy. I purchased ZuPreem fruit pellets to incorporate into the old seed only feed and will continue to add that until it's gone.

I was advised by my vet to change my buggies diet to a more nutritious one, as one of them plucks badly and he believes it to be internal, so trying to give her the best fighting chance! They WILL NOT usually eat anything other than anything seed based. Its been driving me insane! I've spent so much on things they just wont touch! Well.... to my great surprise they actually have been eating this! Actually shocked! Worth every single penny! In all honesty it smells rather nice! And my dog seemed to desperately want some too! Honestly, if your bird is picky it's worth it! Never thought this day would come!

My budgies go absolutely crazy for this food. They leave next to nothing. I mix it with Zupreem Fruit Blend for budgies and they are looking much healthier and I'm finding less feathers have been shed in their cage. I feel this would be excellent reward food for training.

My cockatiel loved these pellets when she was still alive. They are small pellets, easy to mix with seed and the size made it easier for my bird to eat. Very good ingredients and I'd buy again for a future budgie or cockatiel.
