Thanks to other reviews, I knew I would have to modify this to get it to work. I found a simple hack. Remove the black boron nozzle. Cut down a piece of duct tape to the depth of the nozzle. Wrap it about 3/4 around the dia. of the black boron nozzle. Use a mallet to tap the nozzle down into the threaded plastic retainer. This will keep the nozzle wedged forward allowing media to flow behind it. I normally use 6mm pink ceramic nozzles. This 8mm black boron works a lot better, but had to boost the pressure from 100 to 120 psi. I blasted parts for 2 hours without issue using alum. oxide media. I am going to machine a part out of alum. to replace the white plastic retainer and lock the nozzle forward. The other features of the gun (e.g. compact size, and only 30 deg. separation between hoses) made it worthwhile to me to modify.

Have a lot of cfm cause this thing requires a lot of air but it works great

Item came ontime and package well. I did all my research on this and the results said it work with my sandblasting cabinet as well a replacement sandblasting gun for what came with mine. I got it and checked it before swapping it out with the original. All seemed good and it was simple plug n play.. time to try it out and nothing… no gritz was flowing at all just air… it wasnt picking up at all… so i guess it belongs to the kettle pot sandblasting equipment instead of a sandblasting cabinet… all searches were wrong..

Tried out the gun as received. It did not work. The gun came with a piece of teflon rolled into a crude ring (of sorts) jammed in behind the tip and nozzle assembly. It was of no use that I could see. I found that when the gun was activated, the venturi effect pulled the nozzle backwards toward the air orifice, which then killed the venturi effect. The nozzle is a slip fit into the gun tip and there is nothing to retain it from moving backward. I searched through my hardware odds and ends and found a washer that would fit inside the gun tip 0.D. and that also had an I.D. slightly smaller than the nozzle diameter. Now, with the adjustable air orifice in the full forward position, the washer retains the ceramic nozzle insert and the gun works well. In summation, it is ridiculous that this supplier sells an item that is nonfunctional. Either there are part(s) missing, mismatched or wrong parts in the assembly or they just don't care that the gun doesn't work at all.

As others have stated this is useless out of the box. But after modifications it's not bad.

This will solve all your sandblasting issues! Continuous flow till you run out of air if your compressor can’t keep up! This has resolved my issues with my sandblast cabinet and trigger guns! I just added a ball valve for air control and now the flow is endless! Highly recommend this nozzle! Oh yeah, one strip of electrical tape to keep the boron tip forward! Works like a charm!

Used as a replacement for sand blasting cabinet. Works very well but requires a massive amount of air flowing through it. It comes with an 8 mm nozzle which seemed excessive so I tried switching to a 3 mm nozzle but that actually built pressure up in the gun and instead of siphoning sand it actually blew the sand back reverse through the cabinet.

Lot of people dont know that you have to ADJUST the sandblast gun to work properly ! If just just plug it and open the air , it will not work good or at all ! You need to adjust the air fitting on the gun ! You see the little Alan screw ? Remove it and adjust it by moving it back to the correct distance ! When its done , the flow is INCROYABLE!!!!

Cheap and quickly put together. I bought it as a spare. Machining / air flow inside isn’t optimal but for a cheapie gun, you get what you pay for.

It arrived quickly and the price was good. I have seen complaints that the air jet was not centred relative to the boron nozzle - mine was fine so put it down to a bad Friday or recovering Monday.
