I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. After removing from Amazon’s packaging it’s as if you’re opening a present, it’s tied up with a pretty bow. The pillow smells of true lavender and when it is heated up in the microwave the scent lingers on ever so subtly in the kitchen. The heat lasts for a good 45 minutes when using it on your back or neck while leaning against a pillow... a slightly shorter time if the outer side is exposed (if wearing on your neck while up and moving it cools off quicker). The fabric is velvety soft, feels lovely against bare skin. Heated up it eases muscle tension and aches and pains, all with the calming scent of lavender. Pay close attention to instructions- do not get it wet. I highly recommend this, it would make an excellent gift for anyone.

I own a couple different types of microwave heating pads and I was not disappointed in this product. -Excellent quality -Soft outer materials -Convenient size that fits in the microwave -Heats quickly in the microwave 2:30 no more than 3 min. -Lovely Lavender scent Highly recommend.

I love almost everything about this heat pack. It's soft, pretty, large, comfortable, and made in the USA. I don't know if it is because it's all flaxseed, but it doesn't heat up as warm as I'd like it too and doesn't hold heat as long as I'd like it too. I wish I could get same exact pack with a better filling that was hotter and lasted longer. I'm sad. But, I think this would be perfect for elderly who might be more sensitive to heat. The quality is great. Well made. It does put off moist heat. The color tone is beautiful. Great if it's cold and you just need to warm up a bit. I have even put it under my head and neck to sleep on a couple times when my jaw hurts. But I would prefer more intense heat for my muscle pain and for it to hold heat longer so I don't have to keep getting up. Typically have to get up 3xs per use to keep it warm enough to matter.. Like I said. Mixed feelings.

This flax seed pillow is great for easing muscle soreness in the lower back. The fabric is a soothing color and soft. It holds the heat for longer than similar flax seed pillows I’ve used in the past.
