I originally tried a bunch of stuff at once to for a year to help regain some thinning hair up top. As a man, it was one last attempt to prevent balding and maybe regrow hair thickness. Well that failed sadly. However, after swapping back to other brands I used to use, I was stunned how worse my hair was. It was drastically noticeable to the point I swapped back because I missed how healthy my hair and scalp felt.So TLDR, didn't work for me relating to hair regrow or retention, but this is excellent shampoo and conditioner.

I like the shampoo and conditioner. It seems to help. The only issue is even after rinsing my hair, the pungent smell lingers and it also lingers in my hair towel. Even after washing I can smell it the moment the hair towel gets wet.

This combination pack is NOT the same as my previous order. The first thing I noticed was that the label on the conditioner was different than my old bottle (See photo. The picture on the right is the old bottle, the one on the left is the new bottle) and it is lacking the lot number that should be imprinted on the side of the bottle. When I opened the package and used it for the first time, there was a distinctive and off-putting chemical smell. Additionally, the color of the conditioner had a brown tint instead of the creamy white color of my previous order. I will not be using this on my hair. I chose to call the Purador company directly to let them know. They were very helpful. I will not buy this product from the Amazon site in the future.

So I got this product because I noticed my hair was thinning and I was losing hair.While I just started using the product, I think my hair has become thicker. Like everything else with hair loss products, your mileage may vary.It really depends on how well you respond to it and where in the hair cycle you are at.I'll post the results of my research on hair loss.1. First, most of the time that hair loss happens, it is caused by DHT. DHT is caused when your testosterone starts to convert to DHT and this causes male pattern baldness. This shampoo claims it has 17 dht blockers but these blockers are all made from natural products which a lot of people say are useless. So what's the normal DHT blocker that people use? Either finasteride or dutasteride.Why not take those then?Both come with possible side effects (like 2% feel side effects so feel free to try after consulting with a dermatologist).2. Second, you might see shedding before regrowth of hair. This is not a miracle bullet. Even the tried and true method of finasteride might see people shedding hair before regrowth. It really depends on how well you take to it plus where in the cycle you're at. It also depends on if your hair follicles are already dead. Not only that, sometimes it can take up to 2 years before you see any regrowth at all.3. Minoxidil is what you use to vitalize and stimulate the hair follicles for growth of hair. The combo is usually finasteride + minoxidil for regrowth of hair. The sooner you do it, the better the chance that your hair will grow back.4. Microneedling. Honestly, I don't know much about this one so I'm just gonna leave it here.Other methods like low level laser therapy, prp, etc.Why am I taking this? I like how smooth my hair becomes from using this product and I want to try with natural DHT blockers first before making the switch to fin or dut.I'll update this review if I notice my hair growing back.
