They hold thin to mediam hair well. Growing out my bangs and not only do they hold my hair back, but my bangs as well. They would not work for thick hair due to the size of the coil but thin to medium hair stays and is not tangled. Keep in mind, these are indestructible, They are metal and if you bang your head these will not break or give, your head will, just realize that they are metal bands.

When I am tying my pony tail, these metal hair bands are really handy. It makes it easy to get all my hair gathered in on the first try. They're not expensive and really good quality, and the size is self-adjusting. The dark look is not an issue, since I only need to put it on to tie up my hair and don't leave them in.

They hold their shape well and keep hair back. Only flaw is the paint does chip off after awhile For the price they arent bad at all.

They fit pretty tight on the hood. It says that you can bend them to fit your head. I tried to stretch them almost to the point that I thought it may break. It would go back into shape. I give an A+ on the quality of the metal for sure. If you’re sensitive the pressure in the side of your head, it may be uncomfortable. I say give it a try since they do accept refunds, which is wonderful.

Paint peeling off after two days. I do not recommend, I purchased a singe one from a different vendor and still fully covered and that was well over a year ago. It fits well, holds hair in place I have medium length hair. This particular version with the concave shape gets the hair snugged and no need for hair products. The only reason for 1 star is due to the paint. I purchased black for a reason.

I've been wearing one of these every day for weeks now, great headbands. Glad I bought them instead of the usual plastic ones – they're far stronger, hold my hair back just as well too. I'm sure the 3 pack will last me a long time

Paint is not hard...

Unlike other metal headbands I have these don't pull the hair rather pull it back and keep it in place. I have very thick, short hair and love these bands! The end points also are softened and don't give a headband headache where the pressure points are. Great purchase!!!
