How strong is the lavender (or any other) scent?

The scent is pretty strong but we really like it. Once you rub it on it’s not as strong. They do have a scent-free version though!

How much is used for one applications, is it like progesterone creame where you rub a little bit in one place, or do you use a bunch all over?
