I have numerous muti-tools and this one is a GREAT buy. Unlike most inexpensive multi-tools... this one is solid and reliable. It's not a Leatherman but it's not at their ridiculous prices... It's a slightly bulky and heavy, but worth it. I don't feel tricked after buying it... Impressed for the price. Makes a great truck or backpack tool. I recommend.

I have had several Leatherman and currently own a Wingman (I lost two in the past), which is about 2.5x more expensive. So I will compare them to tell you where you may miss out by paying less. The Amazon is sturdy, and the knife sharp, and tools are useful for its intended purpose. Both the knife and saw can be accessed from the outside and locked. The pliers are spring-loaded and the spring is hidden. Personally I prefer pliers that are not spring-loaded as they don't take up so much space when resting on the table. However the Amazon lacks polish in key areas which can impact your day to day use. First, there are more sharp edges on the Amazon, especially along the edges of the pliers, which are sharp enough to cut. Second many tools are very tight and hard to deploy. May be it will get looser over time, but the Leatherman has just the right amount of resistance from day 1. I have medium size hand. If you have big fingers and short nails, it would be very difficult to get some of the tools out. (Sometimes it seems that I need another tool just to get the tool out of the Amazon) Thus, I left the Amazon in the car as a back up in case of an emergency. For around the house and camping, I prefer the Leatherman because all the tools can be readily deployed without much fuss.

This is a surprisingly sturdy multitool for the price. I bought a few more for Christmas stocking stuffers because I've had mine for years and have used it extensively while camping and fishing and it's still going strong with no parts breaking.

I have Leatherman taste, but a different budget. I liked the red color, and didn’t think I could go wrong for its price. This thing is wonderful. It fits great in the hand, and has two handy ways to carry it, other than just sticking it in your pocket. The test of “multi tools” for me is whether you would use one feature, e.g. pliers, rather than reaching for real pliers. These are great. Everything feels solid, easy to pull out, safe (locking knife blade), and just sturdy. I’m definitely buying a second one for the car. Candidly, you just can’t go wrong at this price. You’ll be surprised how solid it feels in your hand. I am wearing it on my belt, a lot more than I thought I would, by the way. I thought I’d be sticking it in my pocket, but it’s just so handy in that (nice) carrier.

This multi-tool is a practical and affordable addition to my everyday carry collection. While the knife blade may not be high-end steel, it holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen. The pliers and wire cutters are handy for a variety of tasks. Although the tools require a break-in period, adding some oil helps to smooth out the function. The locking blade and included clip ensure safety and prevent accidental loss. This multi-tool has proven to be durable and reliable for my work in the construction area at a semiconductor Fab.

This is a great tool to keep in the car as a backup, but it is more bulky than what I was expecting. The value for money is great, especially at the introductory price. I do like the locking blade. The pliers have a nice action, at least for now. I appreciate the included carrying pouch but it feels flimsy. The pouch does have a belt loop. This tool would be pretty bulky in your pocket, but should drop nicely in a backpack or car's glovebox.

Dont get me wrong. for the price this is an amazing backup for my Leatherman Sidekick. For a quarter of the price, you basically get almost everything with a decent quality (albeit the Philips screwdriver is so thin, even for a multi tool, and i'm afraid it wont survive serious work). It will be in my car for backup etc. The saw is also very hard to pull out but i can live with that. you can't open it with one hand. The first tool i got had a flaw, the saw when opening would grind against the screw. so i had to replace it. What was strange was that the replacement i got had a much better sheath! i got a serious sheath, on the same quality of leatherman if not better, the first one was an excuse of a sheath, like a cheap cloth back that with a flimsy belt loop that makes the multi-tool dangle from your belt. I hope Amazon wont use these any more.. So overall, still 4 stars, it would be 5 if these issues are fixed. Great job amazon for making something built well for a great cost. Make those little two changes (always have the better sheath) and better testing before sending these out and you created a tool that 99% of people wont differentiate from the expensive leatherman. Also would be good for you guys to put your logo on it, too bad it has no logo, it can serve as a great ad and i wouldn't feel this is some OEM you just packaged. Great job!

Excellent quality, especially for the rice. Blades sharp, everything opens an close’s similar with a positive click. Pliers are aligned with a positive action. Excellent value.

It is not a leatherman or SOG. But the quality is OK compared to the very cheap price. Thus, should be fine for light use at home or for fixing the bike...etc.
