No suction, even on clean tank floor. Had to use aquarium bond sealant on suctions to hold platform in place. My very active turtle is about 10 inches in length and 5 inches in width, she fills the space of the platform when basking. Now that platform is sealed in place she is unable to move it.

Turtle keeps taking the bottom part apart and pushes it all over the tank lol but it’s a really good basking area not too hard to wash clean and put back together. I’ve only had it about a month.

We have 2 water turtles in a 100 gallon tank that we fill up about 1/2 way with water. We were stacking rocks for them to get up to bask on, but as they grew, we were having to stack them higher, and were afraid it would crack our tank. And, we had to keep a close watch on water level, or they couldn't get on them to bask. This stationary floating dock works great. It didn't take our turtles very long to figure out how to get aboard, and there is room enough for both of them (they are about 4-5" in diameter. Very light-weight solution to our problem. Its also a LOT easier to clean than a lot of rocks! Highly recommend!

Never mind me, my 20+ year old Red Eared Slider *loves* this. Only complaint is that the caps come off easily, but TBF it’s probably because I have a lid that knocks them off.

It's flexible. It works. My turtle is finally happy. Every other "rock" or basking platform was too small. He basks AND he goes under it to hide. 10/10

The media could not be loaded.  Yes, for the size of our Paul, this is perfect! However, the tiny ramp that was attached was not easy to climb for Paul. So I had combine 2 seperate ramps to create what you see before you. Granted, the ramp was purchased with fake green plastic "grass" that constantly clogged our filter and I didn't like that Paul might be eating it. I tried netting, but that didn't work. So I bought anti skid tape and it worked!! Paul sunbathes whenever he feels like it!

Not good for large turtles. I bought this because it had the dimensions to handle my 5 pound turtle. It would work for a 1 pound turtle. There were no set-up instructions. One post broke when my turtle tipped it over. I had to attach it with wire to the top of the tank. As soon as I can find something that actually works, I will be tossing this in the garbage. The ramp is also only good for tiny turtles. If your turtle is large, don’t waste your money!
