The fabric slipping, not being able to get good tension, etc. This is because the instructions in the package (which amount to basically just one picture) don't give a good idea of how the fabric is to be wrapped on the slotted sticks. You must have enough excess length so that the fabric wraps around the stick and back over itself at least once, preferably more than once. This is how you are able to get good seating and tension. If you're using a piece of fabric that is just barely larger than the frame itself, you'll never get good tension. In the pictures I have you can see the fabric has been rolled around the stick more than once to cover itself.Finally, the other complaints about unfinished wood and imprecise measuring, etc.are legit. I had to sand down one of the rounded sticks just to get it to fit inside the tension hole, and that was even with me trying to pull the tension holes pieces apart. My problem is that even with the wingnuts on their tightest setting, the dowels fall out way too easily, so I have to always be super careful with it.
