The FDA regs are incredibly complex and difficult to wade through (at least for me). This book provides lots of visual aids such as pictures of how large the text needs to be on your labels and exactly what needs to be included. In addition, they explain the difference between a cosmetic and a drug. You cannot say that your blend eases pain, aids in treating insomnia, or reduces the inflammation of arthritis if you are not marketing your product as a drug and going through the drug approval process. I see so many mismarketed and mislabeled products out there, making drug related claims.
