I've been coloring my hair and using heat products such as a flat iron or curling iron for a while and not too long ago I noticed when I was brushing my hair that there were lots of little broken pieces which I hadn't seen before. I decided that I needed to cut back on the processing and styling to try to restore my hair back to it's health. The problem is that as an older person the texture of my hair has already changed and I noticed that after washing it tends to be a little frizzy at least for the first day. Add to that the processing from the balayage process that my stylist use and then the heat from curling or straightening and it was no wonder that my ends were breaking off. So I felt like I needed to lay off of the coloring other than covering roots and also to forgo styling by curling or straightening whenever I could. The challenge was not looking like a clown because of the frizzing that my hair does. Now what I'm doing is after I wash my hair and it has dried on its own then I apply the drops further instructions on the packaging to my hair. Since I work from home I don't go out as much as others but when I do need to then I will straighten my hair after using heat protectant spray. I've been doing this for about 3 weeks now and I'm seeing such an improvement in my hair. They're very few pieces that are broken now. My friend who recommended it says that it works better with heat but I haven't been using my blow dryer so I can't attest to that. In addition to helping to control the frizz it smells wonderful. I will continue to buy and use this product that's for sure.

Natural and clean, just the way I like it!

One of the best hair products that I've used. Put a little on your hands and use it on your ends and other dry areas of your hair. Adds shine and smells amazing. I add this after I've processed my hair with blow dryer and curling iron. Love it.

Best hair product ever for frizz!

Damage remedy is good if your strands tend to to be dry. Small bottle and it lasts forever. Doesn’t take much of the product to remedy your dry areas.

Every few years I get the idea that there is a better hair oil out there and am always disappointed that it’s not as good as this oil by Aveda. I realize that hair product effectiveness is highly specific to a person’s hair type. I have a lot of fine hair (it looks thick but the hair itself is fine). It is very long and I salon dye my roots to cover gray every 5wks. I do not use shampoo but co-wash my hair. This oil reduces frizz and increases softness and shine in my hair better than any other product. It feels natural and smells very clean and natural. I will continue to use this product as long as they make it.

I used to use this oil when I worked for an Aveda salon. When it first came out I remember it being just the best product I'd ever put in my hair. It always made it look smooth and tamed without ever looking greasy. I know that it's a moisturizing oil... but the consistency is not "oily" at all. This would be great for anyone with curly or frizzy hair. It works great on my barely wavy hair. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the formula just doesn't seem quite as good as when I first tried this product. Maybe I hyped it up too much in my head. Don't get me wrong...it's still GREAT, just not exactly as amazing as I remembered. I still recommend this to ALL.

Works well on dry hair

Das Öl ist nicht nur fantastisch duftend, sondern auch wirklich pflegend! Bei meinem Haar funktioniert es am besten nach dem Trocknen: 2-3 tropfen auf Handteller eingeben-die Hände miteinander "reiben" um das Öl zu wärmen-und auf die Längen bzw.nur Spitzen verteilen-das Resultat mit Pflege und Aromatherapie genießen!

Odeur fantastique, super produit

Questo olietto a capelli umidi prima dell'asciugatura è ottimo, nessun prodotto leave in mi lascia i capelli così morbidi come questo. Ne bastano poche gocce, io ne applico 7-8 sulla mano e la passo sulle lunghezze.

This product delivers on it's promises. I have very dry curly hair and nothing seems to tame it like Aveda Dry Remedy. It is pricey but you use such a small amount that it lasts a long time even with daily use. If applied correctly it does not make your hair look greasy, it just tames the frizz!

Nachdem ich meine langen lockigen Haare aufgehellt hatte, litten diese sehr unter Trockenheit.Wie gewohnt von Aveda hochwertiges Produkt frei von Silikonen. Der Preis ist etwas happig, da das Fläschen relativ klein ist, dafür ist es aber sehr ergiebig. Für meine Haare das Beste, da kommt nur noch Aveda ran.
