fabulous pens
I have used two of these pens so far and they are amazing! Really smooth writers and less than 90p including cartridge! These are better than other pens I own which cost 50X the price. I would say that the nib is closer to a medium but you can reverse write with these easily (holding the nib upside down) and then the line is more like EF. I have never had a fountain pen which reverse writes so easily.A bit of advice - when you insert the cartridge give it a few strong squeezes to get the ink flowing into the feed section of the pen otherwise you have to wait a long time for the ink to flow through. I have refilled the cartridge with bottled ink using an ink syringe and it worked fine.I would really recommend these excellent pocket sized pens. They are so incredibly cheap that you can carry a few extras to give away. Spread the love of owning a refillable fountain pen and encourage people to reuse pens rather than throwing them away.

Difficult to use
Ink flow after changing cartridges is a problem. I bought a pack and threw them away.

Paper mate
Small little fountain pen, amazing smooth writing.First, I thought it does not write and I have bought 10. But I realised that once you place the ink cartrige you need to press a bit and pump the ink to the upper part. It is smooth and the golden nib beautiful. The rest is plastic but it is less than one pound. Thank you

Ten pens, as described.
There was a problem with the webpage - 5 or 10 pens - conflicting description, but that is now resolved.I have bought a fair few of these Papermate fountain pens. I give them as presents, and I use them myself.Pros: For some reason short pens like these don't dry out. Every time you take the cap off the pen is ready to write. So they are reliable - I have pens that are not. Another good point is that these pens use cartridges which are available everywhere, short international size with 2.6 mm fitting, and therefore inexpensive. The pens themselves are also inexpensive.Con: When you try to pull the cap off there is a strong chance that the other end will come off instead. If it happens a few times then there is a danger of stripping the thread. My solution is to use a small piece of fine sand/glass paper to rub on the pen where the cap clicks on. Don't overdo it. I wrap a 1" x 2" piece around the pen and turn it gently, checking often. This is not a fault of the supplier; all these pens, regardless of colour or supplier, are the same.
