As Grampa, I liked the functionality, and my grandson's love building robot kits so ordered this version of the kit.. Apparently there are three or 4 different models sold under different Part Numbers that are similar so when 2 of the 4 pieces of an L shaped Part needed came up missing, we thought perhaps the we were using the wrong instructions, or had missed something .. but there is no way to put it together without these two missing pieces shown in the inventory, so I will return it. He was very disappointed.. But, We did go ahead and order another variant of this Kit from a differnet vendor, and hope all the pieces are in the box with the next one.. it's the purple ritasstar TMXFISH 333 piece variant sold here on Amazon we will try instead next..Update 5/13We found the 2 missing pieces stuck on the outside bottom of one of the bags.. so may keep it and the purple one too if he likes using it as much as building it

The motor + controller is great. I really like that you can operate each tread independently (great to turn on a dime, etc). Pretty fast motor as well. Easy to build with!However, the USB charging cord melted the first time we used it! I plugged into a fast charging USB port (just the nearest USB port available), and the cord that came with the robot melted and burned. Ouch! Very annoying since not only is it a fire / health hazard, but then I had to go online and track down another charging cord that would work.This would be 5 stars, but kids toys shouldn't have charging cables that melt.

Not real impressed. Bought it for my 5yr old son to build together, and do some 'programming' with him. The build was fun, and the remote that comes with it works well but the app for the phone is a mystery. No instructions for the app are given, I tried the QR code, asked the seller, all dead ends. So that part of the toy seems to be a no go, oh well. The toy itself is also fragile, falls apart easy, the charging cord came apart, had to solder it back together. Guess you get what you pay for, decent lego kit toy, but the programming part of it - not so much.

My stem project loving son enjoyed building this and playing with it. He said it was pretty easy, but still challenging. He even talked his baby brother through the steps. I would buy again for my kids and also gifts for other kids.

It's a robot on wheels kids like it. But arms on robot don't stay up, they hit the wheels when arms move down. Overall fun.

Love it. This is my 4th bot. And the controller works like it's supposed to. So 2/4 have controllers that work correctly. These remote control robots are so fun and are Lego compatible.The controllers for these AImubots that have issues, controllers have backwards controls. Forwards is backwards. Annoying but functional.Overall 100/100 would recommend!

This robot was fun to put together and the instructions were okay. The pieces were generally in the right envelopes. No instructions on the use of the remote control or controlling the robot.The biggest issue is that the battery takes about 30 to 60 minutes to fully charge (the light turns off once charged), but then literally only has about 30 to 45 seconds of run time before it stops responding. Parts of the robot fall off with even the lightest touch on the wrong part while gently picking it up.Definitely would not repurchase. Unfortunately this was a gift from Santa, so we definitely cant return it, or we would for sure!Very disappointed.

I bought this as I gift and I found out there are missing pieces. I am so disappointed.
