High Quality and Very Mild
A very light flavored tea with a solid caffeine hit. Not the relaxing evening cup you have after a calming essential oil hot bath and facial. I did enjoy it. Great with a teaspoon and a half of honey. I bought honey for it too. Update: If you want to know what unami flavor is. That indescribable wonderful taste of Japanese food is. it means surf flavor in turf. A fishy taste to food of the earth. This tea has unami. A taste of wild Salmon or ocean perch. If you don't like that this tea will turn you off. Words to the wise.

very bland/tasteless
the price is very reasonable for the quantity of 3.5 ounces of Tao of Tea Organic Japanese Sencha Green Tea. I am familiar with Sencha Japanese green tea for many years often as my daily tea since it's known to be low/moderate in caffeine content. Japanese Sencha tea is a delicate tea and a mild tea. But even though Sencha is a mild tea in general, this Tao of Tea organic Japanese Sencha is VERY bland and tasteless. Even the box of organic sencha tea bags at TraderJoe's has more flavor when I open up the small bag of approx 1 teaspoon quantity and pour it in to my tea diffuser and put it in the cup. I ask myself, is this tea drinkable? should I finish the container of this tea? I think the answer for me is that it is borderline/marginally worth drinking. But I will finish it especially since I often mix in\ some loose leaf peppermint tea with it in to the tea diffuser. I also occasionally mix in a small amount of ti kuan yin organic Chinese rolled tea that expands after heated from the tiny little pea shaped rolled balls. I often don't drink enough water daily so will still finish more of this bland product because I think it's a way to at least make sure I'm maintaining water input used in the tea. I am only sharing my experience/thoughts concerning the Tao of Tea Sencha and not interested in disparaging any company or product.

Poor quality sencha with insufficient weight
It came loose in a cardboard container! No sealed packaging for the sencha. There was only 84g of tea in it for a promised net weight of 100g. Tea was degraded and tastes nothing like Japanese sencha, more like general green tea from the supermarket

Tea not fresh and bad packaging.
I don't post many reviews but I feel I need to warn others. This tea was really bad and tasted stale and not fresh. Even the color of the tea was a pale and dull green compared to another brand I trust. This tea wasn't even air tight sealed and just loose in this cardboard cylinder container thing which explains the bad flavor. Typically I'm used to seeing tea in air tight bag but not this one.
