During our remodel project, I thought it would be cool to add some under and over cabinet lighting. I wanted something that would be easy to hide, give me lots of mounting options, and be easy to wire and control. I used these LEDs and have been very satisfied! The quality is top notch, the color and brightness are exactly what I was looking for. I put them in a track to help diffuse the light some and to hide the physical light strip. I also put them under the bar top on our kitchen island to add some additional flair. They are paired to a WiFi controller and linked to my Echo devices to I can control the brightness and color (as well as turn on and off) simply by voice. Now I find myself looking around my house for other places I can use something like this!

Worked as expected and setup was a breeze. I paired it via a Giderwel Zigbee 3.0 controller with a Philips Hue hub without issue, recognized it on first try. The colors work very well as does the white/warm white. I can't say how color-accurate they are, but they are pretty bright. I did pair it with a beefy 24v power supply. The LED density means there's no excessive hotspots especially when in a LED channel.I'll probably buy some more if all still works in a few months.

Experienced some initial issues with the lights as they were used with aluminum channels. Unfortunately the packages I received did not say the two sided tape used on the lights needed to be replaced with a thicker two sided tape to avoid possible shorting. This occurred in several spots and lights would not show the correct color in some instances. I contacted the seller and they helped me understand the issue. They sent information showing the updated package instructions. Additionally, they replaced the lights since the package I received did not specifically state the two sided tape should be replaced with a thicker tape to avoid the shorts. I have since replaced the lights per the new instructions and the lights been working very well. The seller was courteous and responsive to my situation. Unfortunately situations like this sometimes happens with products, but the seller was quite willing to help. I would recommend the lights.

LEDs seem to be good but in testing I got a little over 2 volt drop from the start to the end of the strip which is unacceptable. The adhesive is also worthless and unusable. I cleaned aluminum channels to put this strip in really well and used plenty of force to get the adhesive to bond but it won’t. No matter what the adhesive doesn’t work and over night the adhesive fails and is hanging loose inside the channel. Now I have to order better adhesive and replace it or send the whole strip back. I tried contacting the company but can’t get a support contact or find a support contact through Amazon other than a link to their site. At this point I cannot recommend these or the company

These look great in my over/under kitchen lighting! I have only two minor complaints: (1) the manufacturer warns that you should use another layer of tape when installing in aluminum channels to avoid shorting (I would think they would design the item so the attached tape avoids that) and (2) these are “cuttable”, but I found no way to effectively use cut ends with solderless connectors. The manufacturer’s branded connectors did not work for me, nor did other brands.

Good lights for the price, I just ran into many issues getting to them to work, which is more my fault than anything else.I wish I would've bought the 24V LED strips due to the long runs I was doing. I was experiencing voltage drop when I had them daisy changed and it was affecting the way the lights towards the end of run looked. After switching to wiring everything in parallel the colors are true. Just took a lot of work to figure out on my end and then resulted in a ton of cabling that had to be ran.Overall, once I figured out my issues, I am happy with the purchase. I will also note I reached out to BFT lighting and they responded quickly to help me, which was great to see

They do the job, but the included 'solderless' connectors do not work, at all. I bought 5 of these, and they all come with a coupler, I snipped and inserted with and without the adhesive backer, they all turn off the second you let go of pressure on the connector. So you have to solder these, you cannot use those clip connectors, it's a shame because these are really hard to solder with how tiny the pads are and how close together they are. I have to 3D print a jig to do it. It's a same because they make really good products - and it ruins the experience.
