Best kit I’ve used so far
I was skeptical at first (because of the low price) but after trying it, it’s become my favorite lash lift kit. I’ve tried many different kits and this one is by far the easiest to use in my opinion. I usually have a hard time sticking the eye pads to my lids and then getting the lashes to stick to the pad but this time it was super easy! I was amazed! I definitely recommend this, and you really can’t beat the price. This kit has been the cheapest so far but the best.

Takes a bit of practice but worth the effort!
First of all, I'm doing this on myself so it's a little more difficult than I imagine having someone else do it to you. So if you're nervous about trying it (especially the first time), I suggest a trusted friend to apply it to you. But if you're like me and you can't use the buddy system right now, it is possible to self-apply with a little practice. First, I would suggest watching a few youtube how to videos. A lot of them have little tricks and tips that help. Second, apply one eye at a time. I squeezed out half of each packet it its own little ring holder to use on the first eye and left the remaining amount in the packet until I was ready for the second eye. Works like a charm. Also, know that this is going to take a little practice. The first time I tried it, I didn't cut the rubber rods down enough, I couldn't get the glue to stay stuck, I think I got some of the stuff in my eye because it burned like crazy...there were lots of not polite words coming out of my mouth that day! In fact, I had pretty much sworn off the whole deal until I saw that it managed to lift my eyelashes a little even with my bumbling efforts. So much so that I decided I'd give it another try in 6 weeks to see if I could do any better the second time around (spoiler: the second time was easier). Normally my eyelashes stick straight out, but as you can see from the pictures, this kit really does work! (These were taken right after I finished the lift, so my one eye still has some of the moisturizer cream on the lashes...ignore that part). Here's my tips and tricks that I learned after some trial and error: Make sure the little rubber pads are small enough to be comfortable on your eye. I took a piece of paper and made marks with a pencil on the inside of each edge of my eye and then used that as a template to cut the rubber pads down to size. They won't stick if they're too big to lay flat on your lids. Don't be afraid to chop them down and round off the edges so they don't stab you in the eyelid. Next, I took my eyelash curler and curled all my lashes up to help them stay put. I didn't do that the first time and it was harder to glue lashes that were sticking straight out. At least the eyelash curler gets them pointed in the right direction. Next, really smear that glue on. Don't be stingy with it. My eyelashes stuck better the second time, but I still ended up putting a thin latex glove on one hand and using my finger to hold my eyelashes in place for the 12 minutes. Annoying but effective. Lastly, since I quit using mascara completely (it all smudges on me. Even the smudge proof, waterproof, whatever proof stuff. I got tired of looking like a raccoon so I quit using it) I wait 24 hours after doing this lift and then tint with 1000 hour lash tint. The combination of the lift with the tint gives me great looking eyelashes for about 6 weeks without having to mess with lash curlers or mascara. So yeah, it's a nice kit that takes a little bit of practice at first, but it really does work. I am impressed!

Amazing kit for the price!
I was very skeptical of lash lifts in general since I paid $70 to get it done professionally last year and it didn’t turn out well. But for $30 and enough product for 10 applications, I figured why not try it. I have short Asian lashes that are straight and actually a bit downwards, and I’ve never been able to master a good curl and mascara application with my heavy mono lids and whatnot, so this kit has been a godsend.Now... I was hoping that I would be lucky enough to get a good batch with perfect working glue, but I was not that lucky. The glue in the kit I got was extremely stringy and difficult to use like some other reviews mentioned. In fact, my first eye (left) was a horrible process because of it. The eye pad kept lifting and my lashes weren’t staying glued on, which You can see in the third pic that only the outer half was lifted. First and second pics are before pics. Also, the under eye patch was absolutely horrendous for me. I can see how it might be useful if someone else is doing it for you, but it kept poking into my eye no matter where I placed it and causing my eye to tear up which then made the crappy glue even worse cause it was losing its stickiness. So for my second (right) eye, I didn’t use it at all and the process was SO MUCH more comfortable. For my second (right) eye, I applied a lot more of the crappy glue quickly - it got really messy with strings of glue hanging everywhere but I didn’t care. By applying a lot of it quickly (otherwise it dries too fast) to the rubber pad - it stayed on my eyelid better this time, though the inner end was still lifting a bit. When lifting up the lashes onto the pad, I did smaller sections and again with a lot more glue and the lashes stayed on a lot better.I watched the video multiple times before I started just so I was familiar with what needed to be done, and I continued watching it throughout the process just to really get it right. I didn’t follow the printed instructions at all, and went with the timing recommended in the video. 15 min for the perming cream and 10min for the neutralizing cream - and I think they came out great. Last pic is the final result with both eyes done. Another tip I have is that I only squeezed half the pouch into the ring at a time and used a clip to close the opening since I didn’t want the creams to lose their strength by exposing them to the air because I had to do one eye after the other.I requested an exchange with amazon because of the glue problem and I’m hoping the next set will have a good glue. If not, I’m still going to keep the kit and continue using it anyway and maybe just try and find another glue that will work better. I am very impressed about the results though and have told all of my friends about it. I definitely highly recommend - but I deducted a star for the crappy stringy glue.
