Update! I added a star because it's still going strong...
I felt that I needed to come back and add a star to my review. This swing is so sturdy and the children love it so much! It has withstood rain and heat without any issues. We love it! The good: This glider is tough, thick, rugged! If you can get all the parts, you'll love it! Amazon's customer service was great and fast. The bad: My first glider was used and missing several lugnuts and fasteners. The replacement was missing the chains. Both boxes were packaged terribly. The ugly: None Conclusion: I recommend the glider, but please check the packing list; when choosing an item to allow chided to play with, safety matters!
