It smells but it works!
I have an English bulldog who I acquired from someone needing to rehome her about 4 years ago. When she first came to live with us, the previous owner told me that another dog in the house had ringworm and needed medicated baths so she would too. Ok, never really heard about it much so didn’t take it too seriously. Fast forward a year and now she’s starting to get some weird patches of fur loss- it’s a bulldog, they’re super sensitive and allergic to everything so I figured that’s what it was. Take her to the vet, turns out it’s ringworm. He gives us a prescription (can’t remember which one) and Malaseb Shampoo, tells me to bath her every 3 days until it’s gone. Okay. Ringworm goes away and life goes on. Until it comes back with a vengeance about 2 years later! So I didn’t want to do the prescription again because I’ve read that it’s very harsh on their liver and this dog has enough problems already! So I figured I’ll just do the baths every 3 days with the malaseb until it’s gone- welp that worked and then It didn’t. The hair loss and lesions were mostly on her back and when those cleared up I figured it was working. Then I started paying more attention to her underside- all over her belly, groin area and under her arms was completely inflamed, red and rashy- ugh! I kept on with the shampoo every 3 days but I think her ringworm had really advanced, plus she was trying to find things to scratch herself on and ended up really aggravating the skin. I decided to give this product a try as a last resort. If this didn’t work we were going to the vet to get the antifungal prescription! So now we are 4 weeks in and it is working. It’s dried up the ringworm- she’s lost more fur as a result but I think that’s burnout from the treatment. She’s not itching and the skin that was covered in lesions is now drying up and good skin is coming through! It’s a pain to do, it’s unpleasant for everyone involved but it’s almost over- we decided to do one dip a week for 6 weeks. I give her a bath with regular dog shampoo, towel dry her and bring her outside. I have a big Rubbermaid tub that I have her stand in, I sponge this all over her while wearing gloves, her white fur turns neon yellow (I’ve realized that as this stuff dries it actually dries to a powder that stays on the skin until the next treatment, which is why they need a bath before applying it again), she stinks and she hates me but too bad- I’ll make it up to her when this is over. Lol- after the sponging I take the bucket I mixed it up in and just dump the remaining mixture right on her- then she goes into a crate on our deck with a fan right on her until she’s not dripping anymore. We hang outside with her and try to make her feel not so alone and smelly, and end up joking about how we have a rare breed of bulldog that is neon yellow... lol, anyway, I do recommend this product, just stick with it, ringworm is a hard thing to beat but if you do this and vacuum/bleach clean all the areas they go every few days you will beat it! Also, inbetween baths I’ve been putting Nu-Stock ointment on her and that stuff is great- messy and smelly but they get instant relief on their itchy spots- you should check that out too! Good luck!!!

LimePlus Pet Dip
This really works. My dogs were picking up something everytime they went outside and bringing it in with them. They scratched all the time. My Mama quite going outside because she said a little black but was biting her. I called my Vet for something to kill mites and he said he didn't have anything but sold me an oatmeal shampoo to help relieve the itching. I had someone come spray my yard for ants and fleas hoping to kill what was in the yard biting us since I couldn't get anyone to spray for mites. I started scratching all night with the dogs. I went on line to do some research and read about this and several other things. I desided to try this and several other things. I used the first two things that arrived which was this dip and the SynergyLabs Clinical Care Antiparasitic & Medicated Shampoo. My dogs got relief right away. I also bought a flea and roach fogger which I set off in the two main rooms the dogs spend a lot of time. I only used the dip twice but I am still using the shampoo with their regular baths. The dip did seem to dry their skin out a little but that is back to normal and the smell wasn't great but it sure was better than all the scratching. I was tempted to dip myself but I didn't. I used Kleen Green Naturally Enzyme Cleaner to soak in and dabbed some on the bites. I spray my bed and the dogs bed daily with that. We live in the country and have all kinds of wild life that comes in the yard with no telling what on them. The dogs love to run out in the field and roll so when the hot weather comes every year we have had to endure the scratching till winter came again until I tried these three things. Sure nice to not scratch. Hope this helps those that have had the same or simular problem.

Kills mange, Amazing! Don't let these other reviews scare you off
Simply put, this stuff is AMAZING. My cat picked up the mange, where idk. Obviously self diagnosed him using Google, but he seriously looked as bad as those poor babies. I didn't want to post a pic because I didn't want to be accused of animal cruelty; like, his poor eyes were so swollen he could barely open them, and they were turning cloudy. I was bathing him multiple times a week, combing, medicated wound solution, he just kept getting worse. I ordered this because it was the first product I found that actually advertised killing the mange, rather than relieving symptoms. AND IT DOES. Ya'll. After one dip his eyes were open by morning. It was noticeable how much better he both looked and felt. This stuff DOES turn bright orange, almost like the orange egg dye at Easter. I thought it would stain his coat,, because he's back and white,, but it dries white, and kind of powdery.. People are on here saying it stains, it doesn't. They're saying it stinks, and honestly, I opened it and smelled the concentrate and its not even that obnoxious. If any of you have well water, in Florida, seriously, you won't even be bothered by it. I could barely even smell it. I know that was long, but I wanted a fair representation of the product and how well it works

Helped our senior dog recover from staph-like skin infection....Highly recommend....
Our senior rescue male wound up with a staph-like infection on his back and hind legs. It was crusty and his fur fell out in patches. He had no visible discomfort: no scratching etc. We rushed him to vet and he did a skin scraping, which was both a bacterial and fungal infection. This along with a bottle of Vet One 600113 VetraSeb CK Pet Shampoo, 16 oz was prescribed. This, he said would clear up the infection, and it did. Of course, he had to be bathed twice a week and then followed the bath with getting dipped with this. That lasted for two weeks. He still needs a bath every two weeks with just the shampoo and we need to monitor his skin, but this did work. It does smell, but not as bad as we thought it would. It doesn't stain either, as long as you wipe it up very quickly. The trick is to let it air dry on the animal. We let our dog sit in the bathroom for 30 mins after the complete bath, and then let him out into the house. Our furniture had towels on it for protection and when he went out we went with him to prevent him from rolling on the ground which he didn't. He tolerated everything well. Highly recommend this, but it is cheaper here. We bought a bottle to keep on hand should he need it again. Buying at our vet's office is just too much.

Happy sleepy non-itchy hounds!
Yeah, it stinks, but once the dogs dried off, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. For the first bath, I mixed 4 ounces into a gallon of water then sponged it onto my dogs repeatedly until their skin was good and saturated. I have one of those cheapie plastic concrete mixing tubs, and I bathed my bloodhounds one-at-a-time while they were standing in the tub, so I was able to catch all the run-off and keep sponging it onto the hounds. There was a lot left over, so the second bath about a week later, I only used about 2 ounces in a half-gallon of water, which was still more than plenty. It smells pretty bad - like rotten eggs - so I wore a respirator and nitrile gloves during the bathing and didn't smell anything or have any lingering smell on myself. Make sure you wash any sponge or rag thoroughly after using it - I made the mistake of rinsing out a rag and throwing it with other things in the washing machine - even after several washes, anything that was washed with that rag still has a lingering odor of sulfur. Very effective in getting my hounds itch-free after just the first use. They are no longer chewing on themselves and they seem to be catching up on a lot of lost sleep!

This stuff works great if you do it correctly and are prepared
PLEASE FOLLOW DILUTING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!!! You will burn your pets skin if you do not! Wear gloves and appropriate eye-wear; administer a drop of mineral oil in each eye before use. This stuff works great if you do it correctly and are prepared. I foster kittens and all five of my own cats became infected with ringworm. All of my cats received six baths of this stuff (once a week for six weeks). I used athletes foot cream daily in between Beth’s and vaccuumed/disinfected the quarantined room at least every-other day. It’s an absolute pain in the butt to deal with, but if done right, your pet will be rid of it and your home will not be a threat in re-contamination. Some further tips: -Bath pet in a well-ventilated area or on a screened in porch (stuff smells like bad eggs). -Use a Children’s (soft bristle) toothebrush to get areas around the eyes/face (use mineral oil in the eyes to prevent burning their eyes) -watch some how-to videos on YouTube (these were really helpful for me) -crate pet with towels and place a fan in front (helps with drying as they are to drip-dry; make sure it’s not too cold in the area so your pet doesn’t get cold) -utilize Elizabethan collar if your concerns about the pet licking themselves & ingesting the solution (most pets won’t like the taste and will keep off anyway, but just as an added precaution). Good luck!

Worked for my adult dog and a puppy.
My daughter brought home a puppy from a stray dog that had a litter of puppies under her friend's porch. It had puppy mange and worms and it infected my adult dog. Bought this stuff and mixed it up and dipped each dog twice and problem with the mange was solved. Took to the vet for the worms and shots. Now he's a hyper, healthy, shoe chewing, pain in the butt, but we love him. Well not my older dog - can you say jealous? This stuff does stink. It has a very strong rotten egg smell from the sulfur. It also has a yellow color. I used it outside and it was bearable. My adult dog has a white ring around his neck and it was tinged yellow for about 1-2 day. To get this to work best wash your dog the day before so they don't have dander in the way of this reaching their skin. My dogs probably didn't need the 2nd dip but I wanted to be sure it was gone. I did it 10 days apart.

Good stuff for just about any skin condition that your dog might be suffering from.
Our Blue Heeler was scratching all the time, even after being treated for fleas. We used this, followed the directions and ole' Moe finally got some relief. Great stuff for any kind of skin irritation/fungal infection that your dog may have. Its pretty cheap too so even if you aren't sure, its worth a try. It stinks like rotten eggs at first but the smell dissipates quickly. If your dog is scratching all the time and you know that its not because of fleas, then try this stuff. Chances are it will solve the problem.
