I’ve already bought another pair!
I just started doing trail races and the first time I went out I got HEINOUS arch blisters. I’ve never had those in my life! To be fair, I didn’t wear socks because, well…I hate socks. Hate them. But, since I like the trail running, I had to find socks to keep doing it and not have my shoes EAT my feet. Enter these socks. I like them because they have open toes…and they ARE compression type socks. I don’t know how much they let my feet “breathe” (re: sweat) but these along with some taping and body glide have prevented those heinous arch blisters from returning, so I’m sold. I actually bought a few other types of running socks in my “finding socks adventure” but these won out over all of them and I BOUGHT A SECOND PAIR! I wear a size 5-6 in women’s shoes (US) and the SMALL fits nicely, tight but not uncomfortable. I’ve only tried them with trail runners but they worked in those, meaning they’re not TOO thick… but they aren’t “thin” either. In my opinion they’re a little thinner than your average cotton compression fabric (not the spandex ones, those are obviously thin spandex). I like the nude color — very easy to hide that you’re wearing them. They only come up a little over the ankle for me — enough to prevent blistering there, too. They also prevented blisters from forming on the *back* of my heels. I wore a different sock that had some such “heel blister protection” and it didn’t do anything. I got the blisters there — they just weren’t as bad as the arch ones. WITH THESE I had NO BLISTERS. Are they a *little* pricey, sure-ish. But I think they’ll last a while. They wash up nice enough. They seem sturdy — you’ll have to pull them on but it’s not like your nail will puncture the fabric, so I’m confident doing it. I’ll probably be buying more of these as my season continues. ^_^

Support and relief combined with customer service is a good combinaiton
I purchased both the Plantar Fasciitis socks and a pair of the Physix Gear Sport Compression Socks Compression Socks for Men & Women, BEST Graduated Athletic Fit for Running, Nurses, Shin Splints, Flight Travel, & Maternity Pregnancy. Boost Stamina, Circulation, & Recovery - Includes FREE EBook! to try them out for my winter walking and for travel. I am a woman aged 70 who ten years ago developed plantar fasciitis in the left heel. I saw an orthopedic doctor and learned a number of factors were at play including a hereditary tendency to turn that foot as the leg was shorter I got orthotic insert and do exercises. The problem returns at times and is painful sometimes at night. I got the socks to wear to alleviate that. I wish I had known about them before my many walking trips! I find for me they are working well for wear over light socks. I got the L/XL as I wear a size 9 women's shoe and have arthritic joints and read they are tight and can be difficult to put on. Scrunching them up first and then gradually sliding them on seems to take time but work well. I am finding putting them on for the evening and wearing them to bed has helped my feet feel better. In summer I do regular pool exercise and in winter I walk so am just adjusting to the winter program. This is the time when I have traditionally had more evening pain from the heel but this seems to be working. I wear the compression socks when I walk/hike, then change to these and have had over a week now of pain-free nights. I received an email from Adam, the founder of the company, with the promised information on the product and the offer to answer questions. I did contact the company for some questions I had. I was very pleased that Adam replied promptly and was extremely helpful. I will see how the products endure and if they continue to help but right now I am impressed. They take a bit of time to get on but the feeling of support is immediatly apparent.

Great product, with a tweak.
My foot pain was impacting my life so much I came onto Amazon and bought what felt like one of everything in a desperate attempt to get some relief. This product is really good. The support it offers is firm and has held up to a couple of washes now without noticeable stretching (I did put them in the dryer as I was worried they may have stretched, can't say if that made a difference?). However. If you have plantar fasciitis these won't stop that. Socks and fabric (as much as I really wanted them to) won't be able to hold up a collapsing arch. That said, the snug, firm support does somehow help a little, and I found that when you couple it with a gel arch sticky (also sold on amazon, search gel arch support and look for the clear "D" shaped gel arch bubbles you are meant to stick inside shoes).... they are GREAT! The snug fit of the sock holds the gel arch in place, and will help hold your collapsing arch when you step. It takes a little fiddling to wriggle them into the tight sock, but well with it. Better than any of the (many, many, many) arch support foot wraps I have tried. Plus coupled with these socks, you can wear most of your everyday shoes like sneakers or flats or any shoes you'd wear with socks, even those with heels. I took one star off only because while the socks are designed to be snug, one of the socks ripped the first time I went to put it on. It is still functional, but not great that it ripped straight out of the packet. Given you have to really PULL them on, they need to be constructed to not tear at that. I don't think I've ever had any sock tear before? So maybe a sign of making the fabric too thin to be breathable and sporty? Conclusion: buy these with some gel arches, stick one inside the sock, and it will offer the best relief out of the multiple products I've tried that all claim that. And if you are still struggling with plantar fasciitis, take it from this 25 year collapsed arch veteran...... ultrasound machines will offer the best (albeit temporary - maybe a day or so?) relief. Test one out at your physio. Being pain free afterwards for a few precious hours is magical.

AMAZING RELIEF-IMMEDIATELY-BOTH FEET
I recently went to a doctor for severe plantar fasciitis in BOTH feet. I work at a hospital. These socks supported my feet and gave me a pain free day at work after 3-4 hours. I’ve worked and SLEPT in these...the support is amazing and my feet do not hurt in the morning. I recommend 24 hour usage AND night splints that STRETCH THE CALF while you sleep, to get the fastest cure. The night splints alone, were awkward and NOT ENOUGH. These socks are AMAZING. I would limp at work. I even tried a walking boot to ease the pain. I was crying in agony, not able to walk after 6-7 hours, couldn’t clean my house. Couldn’t exercise. I got up this morning, wearing these, after a 9 hour work day, yesterday, and NO PAIN. I was taking 1200 mg of Advil liquid gels, just to get through. I’ve suffered extreme anxiety and distress over how this pain has altered my life. I’ve been cleaning and organizing, today—ABLE to do it. Nothing but these socks has worked, even after a trip to a sports medicine doc. I have a flat foot, anyway. I added an “AirPlus” brand arch support, from Walmart, with a plantar bridge, and these socks—and it has been amazing. People with a good natural arch could probably just wear the socks. I NEED an arch support. I saw them 3 months ago—and WAITED, until this week to buy these socks. Compression socks alone, are not enough. I have black and pink and will be ordering more, so I can go barefoot with these sleeves on, in my house, which is how I ended up this way.

Doesn't do enough to be a PF night brace, doesn't make a huge difference for my PF
This is a plantar fasciitis (PF)-specific review. I spent hours looking for something that I could use both day and night, and was trying to avoid the inconvenience of a night brace. Some reviews said this worked for them as a night brace, however I did not find that to be true. While it does provide compression if that's needed for swelling, and it's comfortable (doesn't slip but doesn't squeeze too hard - but make sure it's not doubled over or folded or you'll get some tingling), it doesn't really seem to help my PF. It doesn't hold the foot in a position to keep the fascia stretched out all night so it doesn't keep it from tightening overnight, which is what makes it so painful to walk in the morning. My PF started causing excruciating pain and I was desperate for relief, so I bought some things like this made to assist it, and they haven't made much of a difference. I wanted to post here that what I found absolutely best was to do a couple of stretches - they have made such a huge difference so quickly, I'm surprised. After only a few days of doing them, I can actually walk without pain and limping first thing in the morning or after sitting for awhile. One is to stand on the edge of a stair step and raise yourself up and down (calf raises, but standing on the edge of a step helps you extend your heel down lower than a floor would). The 2nd is to push your PF foot against a stair riser (the vertical part) so that your toes are forced to bend up, stretching the fascia out. Then step forward/up a few stairs with your non-PF foot. I use these several times per day, along with icing it as needed, rolling it on a ball when sitting, and trying to massage it before I step out of bed in the AM. When my foot is aching after a day of use, if I do these stretches, it brings immediate relief. You could look on you tube and find these (and others). I hope this helps someone who is also feeling as desperate for relief as I have felt these last few months.

Love these.
I wear these for my soccer games. I wash but do not dry them. They hold up well for about a year, which is what I would expect for a compression sleeve. I think they provide me with extra support and help in preventing injury.

Comfortable Support for PF
I almost bought something like these I saw on. fB ad for $40 but decided to look and see what else is out there. Enter these, which were $10 on sale. I just started handsome aching heels in the morning and when I'm on my feet a lot. I walk 8,000-10,000 steps a day minimum so I wanted to nip it in the bud before it got worse. Got these this morning and put them on. I instantly felt better walking around and after a few hours my foot feels great. Supportive and just right enough to get a good compression. I wear a women's 8.5 and the sizing chart was perfect for me. Definitely recommend!

Almost instant pain relief
It is really amazing that I can come home some days with pretty severe foot pain and have it feel 90% better within minutes of putting on these socks. I have recommended them to a friend and my sister. The only reasons I did not give them 5 starts are 1) The sizing isn't consistent. I bought a pink pair. Loved them, they were the perfect size. Eventually, I decided I needed another pair and bought beige. I could barely get them on. If I wore them to bed, I would end up ripping them off because they were too tight. I wear a 6 to 6.5 so a S/M should fit. I finally decided the pink ones are good for me to sleep in (less pain the next day if you sleep in them) and the beige ones are OK for day use and are great for the instant pain relief. If you have a slim foot, my pink ones might be too loose and the beige ones just right. Now that it is fall and I'm not wearing sandals, my feet aren't hurting but I'm thinking about a black pair - which brings me to point # 2. The price. They are currently $18 something. Believe it or not, that is a pretty good price for this brand. When I bought my beige ones, they were close to $25! That is just too much for a pair of socks. I was only willing to buy them at that price because I had a discount coupon and the first set helped so much. If you want these, buy them now before the price goes back up. If the price has gone back up and and you can wait, keep an eye on the prices that seem to go up and down.

Good quality socks, would buy again.
Excellent product. Comfort is great, the bands on top and bottom are smooth but still hold so they don't roll up. Fit: I am a size 6.5 foot, ordered s/m and they fit fine. Might be big for anything under size 6 but could work for a few bigger sizes. Delivery time as expected. The compression isn't as good as the socks I bought from my Orthopodist, but these weren't as dear either and still offer significant support. I developed fascia tissue problems as a result of wearing workboots 10-12hr a day. These, along with stretching and other exercises, help keep me on my feet for a reasonable cost.

Works
Anyone with planter fasciitis or ankle issues should own a pair of these socks, they are strong, tight fitting , skin color and can be used easily with any shoe. I’d say If you have big puffy feet, they will be hard to put on.

Very well-made and helped with the pain
I bought these out of desperation as nothing else has helped me with foot pain and I do exercises and stretches for the problems. I have also tried a previous pair of compression socks and they were too painful. When I got these PHYSIX socks I was sceptical and a little concerned about the price. However they’re very well-made and after a short breaking in. Where they’re a bit tight, I have found them to be incredibly helpful and comfortable. Wearing them for a couple of hours in the evening under another pair of socks seems to help me with pain and just makes my foot feel a bit stronger. So I’m back to order a second pair. I think this is actually one of those cases where you get what you pay for. Recommended
