Rubbermaid Turntable, 10.5 Inch, White FG2936RDWHT

The item I received is actually made by Rubbermaid. There may be other models of this turntable as the two images in the description are different.I purchased this along with the double turntable, also by Rubbermaid. I purchase the double turntable to replace a double that a broke leg after 17 years. Initially, I did not realize that I could use the base as a turntable without the top shelf. While setting these up I realized that the single turntable is exactly like the lower level of the double turntable except maybe about 1/8" smaller in diameter.These turntables clean up easily that I decided to repurposed the base of the double turntable. Previously, I had turntable on 2 of 3 shelves in my spice center: the single for taller spice jars and the double for mid-sized and smaller jars. Now all 3 shelves have turntables: 2 singles (one re-purposed) for taller jars and spice grinders and the double for mid-sized and smaller jars. And I have a spare.What I like:• The turntable is unobtrusive and turns easily. When I'm cooking, I want to think about my spices, not my turntable.• There is a lip to keep items from falling off, but it is not so high that I have a problem getting items off and on the turntable.• The lip is narrow so it allows the maximum space on the floor of the turntable itself, so everything fits.• It has a simple texture that keeps the floor from being slippery but it cleans easily and quickly.What I don't particularly like (but have little issue with):• The shape of the lip on the turntable. It has a weird stepped design; a little inner rim. You can see it in one of the photos; the other photo is a different model than the one I received. That inner rim can make some spice bottle sit oddly, but they still fit, so I am content.• While the turntable turns easily, it is not always smoothly. But hey, its plastic! My last one which was exactly like this one when new, lasted 17 years and continued to turn well, if not perfectly with frictionless smoothness, for the whole time, so yeah, content with this also.Please note, while I am using both plastic and glass spice jars on this turntable, it is a plastic turntable. Heavier items may or may not work on this turntable.

I have several of these turntables in my kitchen cabinets and love them. Other companies make cabinet turntables, but they all seem to be about 1" smaller in diameter, which makes a big difference in how much you can store on them. I've used the Rubbermaid turntables for spices, boxes of teas, bottles of condiments, medications, etc. I have six of these turntables and they really help maximize the space in my kitchen cabinets.The only hiccup was when my turntable arrived, it was missing the ring with the ball bearings that the turntable sits on, so it wouldn't turn. I contacted Rubbermaid via email about the problem -- it took them over three weeks to email me back. I tried calling them and didn't get anywhere after being put on hold numerous times for over an hour and a half. I gave up and contacted Amazon through the "product return" option under the order. AMAZON FIXED THE PROBLEM AND GOT A REPLACEMENT TO ME WITHIN TWO DAYS! I was thrilled with Amazon's customer service. From now on, I'll only work with Amazon if I need a replacement on anything I buy from them.

Unlike most people who use this for storage/food, I am actually using this turntable for product photography. My company's products are constantly being photographed for brochures, advertisements, etc, and we like to have several options of each. Placing the products on this turntable allows us to get even shots between left angle, centered, and right angle photographs.To aid in this, I printed out a little 360 degree compass which the turntable sits on. I also marked a single line on the side of the disc. I then use these markings to know exactly which angle I am taking.Simply said, this turntable does a good job, even though it's not the most well produced product. It's obviously cheap, but for what I paid for it, I didn't expect much more. I haven't tried anything ridiculously heavy, but it handles our large, industrial products just fine.

I love this turntable. We use one in our refrigerator to hold our mustard, relish and other condiments that usually get lost in the back of the shelf. This turntable doesn't take up much space but it does hold a lot of condiment bottles.We also use one in our pantry to hold spice jars. We also use one in our linen closet to hold OTC medicines like asprin, cough medicine etc.This comes in handy when you have a husband that can't see things right in front of him. He can spin the turntable until he finds what he is looking for.

This is serious garbage and definitely not worth the money. It rocks back and forth as well as turns. When I take something off, it tries to slide off the shelf. ( I guess I’d like it if I had wanted a turntable with a mind of its own. ) Also, it came in pieces and no matter how I put it together, it still doesn’t work. I can’t believe it’s Rubbermaid.

I had a different purpose in mind for this turntable, and it is working out beautifully. Whenever my husband and I play board games with our grandchildren, he always says we should have a turntable. We turn the game to each player (especially the Scrabble game), and the pieces slide around. Finally I listened to him and ordered this, and it is doing the job for us. Also we don't forget whose turn it is in case we get interrupted. The one who has the game facing him is the player who goes next. I had been a little concerned that the games might tip, but the turntable is flat enough that that is not a problem. Besides, I figured if it did not work out for us, I would use it in my pantry. I don't know about the label being difficult to remove as one reviewer commented because we did not attempt to remove it. The fact that it is there is meaningless to us. Now if I could just find that perfect word!

Me gustó mucho pero lo imaginaba más grande, si se me hizo caro para el tamaño, tengan cuidado al momento de pedirlo, hagan bien la conversión de medidas para que no se lleven mala impresión. De lo demás, muy funcional.

My kitchen cupboards are difficult for me to access (I'm short) and so I use the turntable in the corner of the cupboard to hold those items I use less often. I can turn it until I can reach the particular item I'm looking for. It is the perfect size, grips the base of the cupboard and turns easily. It is also easy to clean.

Very useful as I am quite short.

Exactly what I wanted to organize my spices. They fit perfectly in my cabinet and turn very well
