This unit is great quality. The outlets and USB ports all work as they should. The compact design makes it so easy to install in many convenient places. I like that is offers surge protection.

Design great and the plug in capability great for behind furniture

General: Oh, I suppose those long power/surge strips have their benefits but I'm tired of them. I'm especially tired of them on a "single file" row that prohibits plugging in those plug/AC adapter combos that cover (or nearly cover) the adjacent slot/plug. This little "guy" is sweet and to the point. It has all that is needed in a small compact surge/power strip. See below. PRO: Angled plug. This is especially useful to NOT cover the plug below when using the top plug of a standard household outlet. Flat plug. I plug mine in behind my desk and don't need to push the desk away from the wall to make room for the plug cord sticking straight out, It has a subte little light to indicate the power is on. And, it has an of/off switch. The plugs I plugged in felt snug and firm (but I didnt need to "force" them in). It was a nice fit. And while it probably doesn't matter much, it was a nice thought to add little rubber feet to prevent sliding easily. It's a fair price. CON: I cant think of any. Conclusion: I don't know how well it does its job during a storm. I hope it's not put to the test. As well-built as this item seems to be, I'm going to assume it will help with electrical problems. Otherise, this is just what I needed. I highly recommend this product. I use Amazon reviews extensively to make decisions on my purchases. It follows that I should honestly review items that I have liked (or not liked) so as to benefit other Amazon customers (as I would have them do for me). LLBB

I got this because I needed 3 plugs behind my bedroom dresser and did not want cords or adapters pushing my end table from the wall. This works well with a plug where the wire comes off to the side. I placed this on the floor behind my end table. I do not use the built in USB charger because it is not Apple Certified. That does not mean that it will harm my phone. It just means that Apple has not tested it. It also means that the manufacturer does not have to pay Apple a royalty. But some chargers have been know to harm phones and shorten battery life, so I am not willing to take a chance. So I plug my Apple chargers into the outlets, along with the table lamp and I am happy. If you are looking for USB charging, this has USB-A. Newer phones use USB-C which provides a higher current. This is not included. I am impressed with the look and feel. It gives me the impression of quality and the all-white makes it feel like an Apple product. The power cord and plug feels like it is high quality, yet is flexible so that it is easy to place the unit. Its voltage range includes Europe, so with a country specific power plug adapter, you could still use the USB charger. The power outlets would be the higher voltage, so be sure to only plug in chargers that can handle the higher voltage. I do this sort of thing all the time when traveling to Europe so I can plug in our 4 universal power chargers for our two phones and two tablets. I would buy it again. I would pay more for MFi and USB-C higher power charging. A nice product.

What's not to like! Flat plug with multiple USB & 3-prong outlets on a switched low-profile unit. I've ordered these multiple times - my goto power strip

I needed a flat plug charger for my den that was thin and compact. This fits the bill. It has just enough plugs, but with the option of using the USB ports as well. I have it stuck to a bottom corner of my room with command tape and it works perfectly. It's not super expensive either so you won't break the bank on it either. Now, be sure you check how many plugs you need, this doesn't have a ton. But they are arranged in a square pattern that works for my needs, but might not work for everyone.

I have actually bought this TWICE. I bought one for home use and use it every single day. I also bought a second one for work. So many electronics now come with cords but no wall adapters! This is my solution. I like that it's not bulky. I take it with me when I travel because I never know what access I'll have to outlets. It has saved me so many times! I have used it for my phone, fan, fitbit, minifridge, lamp, CPAP, and laptop. Everything charges great. HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest getting this product!
