Sharp but not 'razor' sharp. I had to touch it up and strop it to get it to be a razor, which didn't take long. Easy to sharpen and strop without having to take it out of the holder. Make sure to have the blades up and down when hunting. If you have them flat, it'll scallop/scoop and you'll miss big time. I got that tip from the owner of this archery range I go to.
