Very Small Handle
You need to know that this is a very small handle. I think it said somewhere for files. It shocked me how little it is. Just make sure that is what you want before you buy this. And the hole for attaching it to things is very small as well. Probably only a quite small file would fit into it. Buyer Beware!

Comfortable and fits the files
The handle is excellent for small files. I used it on a triangle file for sharpening a saw, and it was perfect. It has a snug fit, the handle is not too big to work with, and a smooth finish. I only have one concern, and that is the metal sleeve at the top of it. The metal part does not seem as firmly secured to the wood as I would like. I have used it multiple times so far with no issue, but if you are rough on tools, I would pay attention to that. Also, it works best using only one file. The inside is just wood, so the file is wedged into it. For a permanent handle, this is a great option. I might would consider another option if you want to swap files often, but using only one this is a comfortable and easy handle at a great price.

File tang hole in handle is 3.4mm (>1/8") diameter
I really do NOT like Nickolson's A/B/C file handle size system. Apparently this "A" sized handle is the smallest they make but the hole in the handle was too big for my smallest chainsaw file. The wood hole accepts a 1/8" drill bit with a little wiggle. The calipers show 3.4" diameter hole. I need a handle with a 2.5 - 3.0mm hole.

Tiny!!!
Much smaller than I thought. But seemed to be a good product for what it is

Too large for some smaller file tangs, easy fix
The hole is too large for Pferd extra slim and double extra slim taper saw file tangs, but for how inexpensive these are, the fix is simple: dowel and re-drill a smaller, more suitable hole.

Overpriced Chinese handles
I paid more to get Nicholson handles but they are made in China and are not even stamped with Nicholson. There is nothing wring with these handles but I should have purchased Chinese handles at a fraction of the cost. Don't waste your money on these.
