The Perfect Seasoning
The Spike No Salt seasoning is my clear favorite. I've tried nearly every other salt-free seasoning, and they all tend to be too overpowering with black pepper. Spike is just perfect.

Flavor it up!
I have loved this stuff for the last 20 years. 35 different herbs does seem like too much to mix together, but for some reason it works and it tastes incredible (my opinion). I usually put it on my veggies and potatoes, but I've also used it on popcorn when I'm feeling adventurous. It does have another version that has salt in it and personally, I do prefer that one over the salt free one, but because I have had to limit my salt intake, this one works just the same, just as well, still get the same herb taste just without my beloved salt. Highly recommend you give it a try and if sodium is no issue for you, then definitely try the one with salt in it, you won't be disappointed!.....unless you are extremely picky about flavor ;)

A go-to for savory flavor and no salt
I've been using Spike salt-free seasoning since the 1980s. It's a go-to favorite. It gives you that salty savory taste without added salt. One of my favorite ways to use it is in veggie sandwiches. I toast 2 slices of whole grain or sourdough bread, spread a little mayo, sprinkle Spike on the mayo then load it with avocado, tomato, cucumber, and lettuce, and sometimes sprouts. 😋 It's reasonably priced because a little goes a long way. The one thing to be mindful of is that once you open it, if it gets hit by humidity, it can clumping together and get hard. It's best to keep it stored in an airtight container.

Yum
For some reason I forgot about this spice mix for a few years, not sure why. I was introduced to it back in the 1990s when I switched to a vegetarian diet. This stuff is great for packing a lot of flavor into your food. I just recently was reminded of Spike and got some and I'm really glad I did - Boy, did I miss it! I do use both versions, the one with salt and the one without, but I definitely prefer the salt free one because I like to have more control over the salt content in my cooking.

The taste is very different from the original.
I love the original Spike, but wanted that flavor without salt. I was thrilled when I found this salt free Spike! However, the taste really isn’t the same to me. Granted, salt can enhance or change flavors, but this seems a little drastic. Also, it’s weird, but it tastes really salty to me anyway. Maybe that’s just me and no one else would find that to be a problem. I still use it and will continue to do so, but I’m not sure I’d spend the money to buy it again.
