Why did you pick this product vs others?:We'd been told by a wine store owner that this was the best so we tried it. They weren't kidding - we used it on an open bottle of cava and a week later when we went to reopen the bottle, it shot off and set off the glass break sensor on our home security system! The pressure was that great inside the bottle!Needless to say, it was as fresh and bubbly as when we first opened it, and we're much more careful taking the stopper off!

A week after our bottle was opened, it still made the sound of a new bottle being opened when we removed this stopper. Amazing! I've tried two other styles and there is no comparison.

I have bought a few of these (we drink a lot of bubbly : ) And really like the way they stay securely on the bottle and seem to keep the bubbles in. I've never used one for more than an hour or two, so I can't say how well they do long term.

This is the best champagne cork I have ever used. I couldn’t believe the seal was so tight that when I popped open the bottle that I had capped three days ago, it sounded like I was opening the bottle for the first time. There was even a whiff of vapor.

You can save a bottle of Prosecco for a month and it will be fine. The best!

So far does the job.

I opened a bottle of champagne yesterday evening, had a couple of glasses, and used the stopper. Today, about 16 hours later, I removed the stopper, poured a glass, and the champagne was just as it was when I first opened it. This is definitely worth it. I will buy more so as to have more than one bottle open at a time.
