Good stuff
Worked really well! For us first time plumbers, a description of what to expect or need to remove/ clean would be appreciated. Don’t know if I did it correctly but the leak from the stem is no more.

Good stuff when you need it!
This is a very good material for re-packing leaky water valve stems. My only complaint is it seems a bit pricey for the amount you get in the package. I was able to fix one leak valve stem but there wasn't enough left for the 2nd valve.

Too big for valve stem.
This was too big for my hose bib stem packing. Instead, Teflon thread tape wrapped around the stem did the trick. No leak.

Worked good
I got this for a garden hose valve that was leaking at the top when the water was on. I didn't want to change the valve because I didn't have access to the pipe it was on. I removed the top nut on the valve but I couldn't get the handle screw off. I was still able to wrap the packing rope around the stem with the handle still on. Put it all back together and tightened it all down and no more leaking. This product worked well.

2 wraps of this stopped my leaking shut off valves under the kitchen sink. No need to call an expensive plumber!

2 wrapps and a little nip up on the packing nut no more leaking from stem all better now

Took a long time to get
I did not like the time it took to get i needed it quick as my tap was leaking and needed this product to seal it . i finally got it 3 weeks later so much for prime quick delivery i had to buy somewhere else product looks good ,
