waterproof and warm plenty of pockets but very light to wear the fur around the hood is a bit naff but can be removed as you might expect from helly hanson its well made and should last very very pleased with it

Brilliant parka (the best I could find so far) to endure the worst weather conditions at 60N Shetland! Brilliant design with a hood that sustain gales well; the HH tech makes it waterproof, windproof with a brilliant snug feeling. Great pockets front top and side with an additional chest pocket, very handy. Clever and highly recommended piece of gear.Many great years of service expected.

I've already got one of these jackets they are excellent, warm, waterproof, breathable, the only reason I've bought a second one is that you really need to go up a size if you're planning on layering up in winter, they are a snug fit

This is a well made coat, and from what I can tell the sizes run true for ordering purposes.I ordered a size larger than my usual because I wanted to wear jumpers underneath it when dog-walking along wind and rainswept beaches on Mull.The coat itself is lightweight and keeps me dry when it’s raining. Wind protection is also good, although it isn’t what you’d class as a ‘warm coat’, you need to make sure your base layers are up to speed for that.Plenty of spacious and accessible pockets, 3 on one side, 2 on the other.The cuffs are adjustable with press studs for a good fit, they are also a good length so they shouldn’t rise up your arms.The faux fur hood front looks nice but kept getting across my face so I’ve removed mine. The hood is adjustable to close in around your face and fits snugly when adjusted.All in all a good purchase, I’m very happy with mine and expect it to last a good long time given the build quality.Would I buy another one? Yes.Edit, 26/12/23I felt I had to come back to this review and just add a comment or two, also to increase the star rating to 4+.This has become my ‘go-to’ coat for all weathers, it’s light, rugged and comfortable. It’s also much warmer than I first thought and is suitable for heavy winter weather.No visible signs of wear or tear, it’s lasting well.Highly recommended.Best wishes.

great price and nice coat

Great coat, if you are a chilly person then you may need to layer with a jumper in really cold weather, but this is efficient at maintaining body temp both ways due to the good breathability. Needed an XL instead of L for body size, but that does mean sleeve length is a bit long, the adjustable cuffs do hold them in place though.

I ordered this coat for going to watch football in.I’m a 15 stone, 46” chest XL normally, and this fit very well. The zip goes all the way up and allows me to keep the hood down, but cosy in the cold and wet. I’ve not had it on in a deluge yet, but it has easily coped with the showers it has been. The lining is a nice plaid and suits the coat very well.The sleeves are a good length, but it is here I have my only small gripe; the press stud fasteners have only two points of anchor, and therefore leave the cuff either too loose or too tight. A Velcro strap would have been perfect, but I’m only being pedantic here.This is a nice parka type coat that is perfect in nearly every department for me. Recommended.

Parka liviana y comoda. Todavia no la uso en clima muy frio, pero hasta ahora ha funcionado bien.

La Parka tiene muy buen ajuste, no agobia pues es liviana para su tamaño y abriga lo suficiente en el Invierno con segunda capa debajo y en entretiempo sin la misma. El color que he elegido es un verde oscuro mate muy sobrio y la capucha tiene proporciones adecuadas. Por dentro el forro es de un material agradable al tacto y con patrón de cuadros escoceses blancos y azules que brindan cierta elegancia. Las mangas son un tanto largas pero se pueden recortar un poco ajustando sus puños con cierre de velcro. Su tela exterior tiene buena impermeabilidad y también es corta viento. Muy apropiada para la ciudad donde vivo en el norte de España.

Diese Jacke macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Material und Verarbeitung sind hervorragend. Auch ist die Jacke leicht und hält warm. Bin 1.80 groß und wiege 86kg. Habe die Jacke in L bestellt. Ärmel und Länge passen perfekt. Schulterbreite auch. Überm Bauch spannt sie unbequem. Eine Fleecejacke passt nicht mehr darunter. Deswegen empfehle ich sie schlanken Männern denen Gr. 98 ideal passt.
