It is a nylon type cloth shell giving a poor feel. My view go for the better more expensive ones if your looking quality. Functional for beginners or intermedial not for advanced people that are used to more expensive ones. Its now hung and just used it. Mt 14year old was very happy. I found the unfilled air pockets off putting see pics. Altogether good for money.
