Beauty Color Block High Impact Lipstick - Wild Rose For Women 0.14 oz Lipstick

Is NOT Wild Rose, it's Amberlight - I thought I was ordering the now discontinued item, which is Wild Rose, if I knew this was the Amberlight shade I could have just gotten that from the shop, jeez.

The color was not mauve, but a bright coral pink on me. The hydration was minimal.

I love the shade of this lipstick (Wild Rose), but find it is not as hydrating as I need. I follow it up with a Kosas lipstick in the shade Malibu to give it the texture I want. I don't notice any taste or bitterness while I wear it like I do with other lip products. It's a beautiful rose pink shade and it does not lean brighter pink in person, which sometimes is hard to tell from the images of swatches when you are looking for a dustier rose color.

With a name like Wild Rose (Ultimate Mauve), I thought I’d get a color with more purple color. However this is more earthy, with much more brown undertones than purple. I have warm skin and gray hair. Purple colors are great for the hair but don’t always look good on my skin; they can look harsh. So the added brown helps balance the competing tones. The Amberlight color is even more earthy and does not look nude on me, it looks like it's closer to the brown family of colors. I have sensitive lips and this is nice and moisturizing and is comfortable to wear. It’s not long lasting but that’s what happens when you get moisturizing formulas.

I am very fair-skinned so I struggle at times to find a natural lip shade that adds a bit of color to my face without being too much. This has turned out to be the perfect shade for me. It's not too much, but it's also not too light. Longevity is okay. Not terrible. But I do have to reapply after drinking my tea. I love this lipstick so much, though, I've purchased multiples so I can have at least one in my vanity, one in my purse, and one at the office. Love it!
