Works great, really helps extend the life of the mouthpiece. a great value for your money, as you will not have to replace the mouthpiece as often. it is very durable and just the right thickness and comfort, so you don't even realize it's there. I was having an issue with my teeth grinding on the mouthpiece, and this solved that for me. I'm a high school freshman who wishes i found this product sooner, as I would have saved my Dad a lot of money

Background: I have recently begun learning clarinet, and my teacher suggested me to get some cushions for my new mouthpiece. The good: Works as expected, perfect size and comfort! It takes some time to adjust your embochure if you have never tried one, but nothing too dramatic. The meh: Nothing really at fault here. Could be a bit cheaper perhaps? The bad: Honestly, nothing. In conclusion: These are some great cushion pads for clarinet!

Inexpensive and FAIRLY durable. Comes with alcohol pads and soft prep cloth. When my habits are bad, i.e., too much movement, I can put a divot in them pretty fast, though. I like them.

These were inexpensive and work great! Easy to apply. Just the right thickness and amount of cushioning. My alto mouthpiece had no cushion and the one on my tenor was plastic and delaminating. Now both are happy!

I have to admit I don’t like playing with a pad on my mouthpiece. I feel it muffles the normal vibrations of the piece and can dull the sound. But at the same time I have teeth that are maybe a little sharp (?). My embouchure isn’t tight but no matter what I always end up digging teeth marks into molded rubber pieces. What makes these pads better than any other I’ve tried is the adhesive. It’s not “gooey” yet stays in place better than any other I’ve tried. And I’ve tried many. The other ones always started sliding after a few gigs and they left gooey glue behind when replacing them. A pain to clean off. These ones came be removed with minimal clean-up and yet they stay in place better. The BEST thing about these is I can trim them to minimize the impact on the feel and sound of the mouthpiece. And that’s a compromise I can live with. This company figured out how to do these the right way.

I bought this item because it was considerably less expensive than the typical mouthpiece patch that I had used. If I played saxophone only occasionally, this would’ve been an excellent choice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t hold up as well as the namebrand versions. I find myself replacing them more often then I would have with the name-brand mouse patch
