Excellent screws for micro pocket holes
These screws are the perfect screws to use in Hardwood micro pocket holes. Many micro pocket hole joints can use the 1 inch but if you have a little thicker wood that you are jointing the extra 1/2 inch makes for a tighter joint. The length of the screw depends on the thickness of both pieces of wood and you want the most screw penetration to hold the pieces together. Kreg has a chart that helps with the length choice but sometimes you just have to try a test piece to make sure the length is the best it can be without going the whole way through the second piece. Test to make sure.
