Comfy, loose, lightweight but not see through (I wore black modal and brown modal while pregnant), but not so thin that pantylines jump out at you as long as you choose your underwear with a wee bit of concern to avoid them. Fold over waist is not tight, and can be positioned under the bump or unfolded and pulled up over your bump.I was in my second into third trimester in the summer and these were cool enough to wear as a β€œdressy” pant (look for the culottes version too). I ordered two sizes, and kept the larger to have some bump wiggle room, so I think they run true to size (kept xxl, was a size 12-14 pre-pregnancy). I ordered the first pair in April and wore them nonstop until baby was born in October (and some after during postpartum period). First two pairs were 5 star all the way!Then, I needed a smaller pair and reordered in May of this year, same listing but in charcoal. Not the same pant. Material wasn’t as soft and felt cheaper, and instead of a straight, full leg palazzo with a lovely drape, these were enormously bell-bottom shaped. Even after trimming the length (I’m 5’7”, and had to trim original pairs too, no big deal) they were a wide bell bottom. I kept them, but only wear them around the house.I’d really like to order another black modal pair, and I might do so (making sure it’s from the same prime seller as the first pair, starts with an β€œn”), but if they are the same as the charcoal pair I will return them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ not fabric content listed, but I like them! *by J***K on Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2017* These are not the fabric content listed - I ordered the 'Modal Black', which were supposed to be 92% rayon & 8% spandex, but got ones labelled 95% polyester & 5% spandex - I had wanted the rayon for slightly more 'breathability' and a nicer feel, but not worth the bother of returning.I ordered XL. My measurements are: W = 37", H = ~40, Inseam 33-34", I'm 5'7", ~189 & have a very short rise (distance from crotch to waist).These pants are very comfy! They just touch the floor when I'm barefoot. The fold down waist is awesome! With a very short rise, it is extremely difficult to find women's pants that are long enough in the leg but don't come up to my bra strap - the fold down option addresses this problem. It also stays 'up' if I want it to, even when getting up and down from chairs.This black fabric is very thin, but not at all see-through - I tried them with a pair of neon yellow unders, and no hint of color showed through; however, I believe the light colored ones would show, so my recommendation would be 'full coverage' underwear, for both modesty and decreased 'jiggle' factor (or cellulite).They are snug/clingy around waist and hips/butt and drape very nicely from bottom of butt down and are nice and 'flow-y'. However, if you have a tummy issue, these DO accentuate it! You WILL want to wear a top that covers that area. (I think that even if I had ordered up a size or two, this would still hold true, and maybe not stay up well.)Being polyester, there is going to be a static cling issue, so if you don't want to get electrocuted all the time, you'll want to use something like Downey when you wash them, or spritz them with an anti cling product. I have not laundered mine yet, but will definitely hand wash & hang them up to dry.I searched around on Amazon A LOT to find the best price, as I had never tried this kind of pants before and didn't want to invest a lot of $ at first.
