Although the included instructions are poorly written they are super easy to set up
I now have four of these cameras. Although the included instructions are poorly written they are super easy to set up. Just plug into your router, download the phone app, scan the bar code on the phone, enter your wifi password, change the camera password from the default and it's up and running.The visual quality is very good and the pan and tilt is pretty smooth. I don't not use the motion/record capability so I cannot comment on that. I have two setup outdoors and 2 indoors and have not problem viewing them on the remote phone app or computer link. If you do set them up outdoors place them in a protected area as they are not rated to be weather proof.

App Renders Camera Useless
The "MIPC" app that is supposed to work with it has stopped working rendering the camera useless. I so far have found no tech support at all for this product. Nor have I found any app that will work with this camera. To be clear it used to work fairly well but now the camera does not show up in the app and all log in attempts fail as well. Bummer. Thumbs down :(

They offer tech support after the sale, but direct you to sales people who know nothing about the product prior to the sale and just make up answers apparently.• The actual website for this product says it will alerts via email, however, it doesn't. Tech support confirmed website is wrong. They still leave the incorrect statement. Sales lied, website is wrong, starting to notice a pattern?• It has lights blinking all over it, so I think thieves may be attracted to it. You can probably remedy this with some electrical tape to cover the lights.• Tech support can't help with issues where sales service lied and the website is incorrect.• Tech support is hard to reach - they direct you to their forums first, however, when you sign up, you don't have permission to post a question and they have VERY LITTLE help information on there about anything.Overall, a GREAT piece of hardware with SERIOUS limitations. Someone breaks in your home, someone steals your camera, you lose.I'm keeping the two I bought because I like I can change their view, but I'm not replacing my existing solution unfortunately. Tech support responds usually within 24 hours, too bad their product was surrounded by misinformation.

Great when it works.
I had no problem setting up the camera on my wifi network. The picture is great when it works. However, something keeps turning OFF the motion alert when I did not change it. So I missed a few recordings of delivery men at my door. Consequently, I have to keep checking to see if the alert is still ON.I am aiming the camera through a window toward my front walkway. It works fine in the daytime but at night, the alert keeps going off every few minutes. I turned the motion detector way down but it still kept giving false alerts frequently. So I have to turn off the alerts at night which makes it only good for live nighttime viewing. I have it set for daytime mode so it won't reflect off the glass. There is enough light from the porch lamps to get a decent picture. I contacted their customer technical service by email but they were not very helpful.

SUPER Easy to setup and use either from android or Iphone. Also has ability to add on using same app. GREAT product and App that works with it.

Very poor overall camera
I texted tech support before purchase. They indicated you could record from a remote PC. You cannot. The storage is totally inadequate as is the video quality. Very disappointed and I seldom write negative reviews. To date, I have only been able to get sound from the phone app and you must have unlimited data to use. Arghhh!

The Android app MIPC keeps getting worse with every new update
The Android app MIPC keeps getting worse with every new update, and the latest one just broke both of my cameras.They are both off line, and I cannot get them back.The software developers do not listen to their customer base either.I cannot recommend these cameras.I also just now tried going to the cameras website to try and add them back online, and Firefox is warning me the site is infected.I will be looking for new cameras.Do not waste your money on this camera.An update, do not download the newest app, you will be sorry.My cams are working OK with the prior version, but the app that was updated May of 2018 will make you want to throw the cams in the fireplace.Wish there was another app to use with these cams.
