An easy model for a lazy boy
It is a pretty cool model, as one of the other buyers had noted, probably not 1:72 scale, but maybe @ 1:144 or so. I didn't really care about the scale, as long it is in scale to itself. It is good detail for the size, @ 4 1/4 long x. 1 3/16 wide x 1 3/8" high. It even has the propellers, and two machine gun mounts, and you know, ... I didn't have to build it or paint it. I am a lazy boy. I periodically buy these small "die cast" models based on impulse, on cool stuff that I like, and I do like it. It is a good rendition for the size and price.

conflicting information
product says 144 scale but then says it is 8 inches long. Amazon, as usual has no care for the accuracy of the listing. Amazon fulfillment seems an easy answer for purchases but a buyer should not take anything in their listing as accurate. They are in a hurry to sell you something but not to post an accurate listing. Free shipping means they will sit on the paid order for a week before they decide to process it. If you purchase with standard shipping they process it next day. A double standard exists and if the free shipping is worth the wait then use it if not pay for the shipping and get your product in the same time frame that Amazon dictates for all 3rd party sellers. If Amazon really cared for customers they would treat free shipping the same way they do standard shipping. That would encourage most buyers to buy more. In any case it is buyer beware.

This is a great model of a landing craft. It is not a toy. Scale 1:144
This is a nice N scale (1:144) model. There was some confusion regarding scale because the plastic container inside the box is labeled 1:72. However this is definitely N scale. This is not a toy, but rather a detailed model good for a train layout or a scale military scenario or diorama.

Disapointing
The was described as a kit. It's a miniature. I am not very happy but I guess I should have looked at the earlier reviews.

Tiny and poor quality
It is really small, the ramp fell off immediately (taped back on in photo) and the side fell off a day later.
