Gotta Have it!!!
This is by far the best, sweetest corn we have ever eaten. Everyone who has tasted it LOVES it! It truly does freeze extremely well, in April it tastes just as sweet and crispy as it did right out of the garden last summer. Our Spring was very cold and wet this year, so I started them in styrofoam cups in my greenhouse. It was too cold to plant them out so they were in the garden in the second week of July. A month later and the silk is showing and the tassels are opening. They have gone from 1 ft to 5 ft tall! I started 100 cups and currently have 90 plants. Several have disappeared over night but the seeds germinated 95%.DON'T overcook any sweet corn- 4 minutes in boiling water is perfect.

THIS HAS BEEN OUR FAVORITE SWEET CORN FOR YEARS
We occasionally do a test planting of other corn, but it never turns out to be as good as GOTTA HAVE IT. It's the best!!!

Poor germination
Bought August 2021. Ad copy did not identify as packaged for 2021. Planted May 2022. Germination was poor, no better than 40% (4 out of 10 seed sprouted). I usually plant heirloom varieties and haven't seen germination issues like this in 40 years of gardening. Relatives have grown and raved about this corn. We are all in zone 9. I must have received damaged seed. The kernels seemed more desicated/flattened than other corn seed I've planted.I'll try ordering a newer batch this winter.
