1/8" x 1-1/2" x 2" Plastic Shims Structural Horseshoe U Shaped, Made in USA, Tile Spacers, Red, Qty 100 by Bridge Fasteners

I bought these to use as spacers for a large format shower tiling remodel.The 1/16" spacers at the big box stores seemed flimsy, so I tried these instead. So glad that I did. They where easy to use, and kept the tiles perfectly spaced. Just run them under water when done, and they are as good as new .In case anyone reading this is thinking of using them for their project, one thing I learned is to put them in with the 2 legs first, not how I did it in the attached pics (longways). If you leave them in that way, and don't take them out in time, the thinset dries and they are impossible to get out. Once I started using them the right way, I had no issues. Sorry, I don't have any pics of them in the correct way, but you can tell by the final pic, they worked great for this application.

I was installing windows with my son, and we went crazy getting shims to fit. That night I awoke with a dream about some plywood shims that would fit around the screws, and the planned to make some. Thankfully, I found these premade shims that some clever person had thought of before I had my dream. Thank you.They work fine; I got all 3 sizes. The only issue is that sometimes they fall off the screw and are lost. Maybe a piece of tape would keep them from turning upside down?Net result is that the windows are shimmed better than with angled wood shims, there is less obstruction to foam insulation, and we save about 15 minutes per window, at least as amateurs.

I bought a bag , now need to invent a game or other use for the extras ....... maybe table top horseshoes !

Consistency is key for these horse shoe shims when they need to be the same thickness throughout. They are helpful when fabricating by yourself.

Good size, well made and you should be able to reuse many times worth the money

This product came in very handy to install our new construction windows in our home.

What can I say. They work fine but must be glued. They crack if nailing is attempted. Wish I could have bought about 1/10 the quantity that came in the bag.
