Contacted the seller and requested the two-position manufacturer date code (usually alpha characters) that is printed on the packaging of the Energizer 379 battery (it has 3 year shelf life). The seller told me the code. Called Energizer Customer Service at 800-383-7323 to find out when this battery was manufactured. The battery was fresh. Ordered it, received fast, battery works fine. Its my once a year order for watch battery's As my wife's watches die she brings them in and stacks them on my desk, After about the third one or so I place a order for battery's, By the time it arrives 6-7 watches are on my desk, so I start replacing battery's till the stop showing up on my desk.
