Not bad but could be better
I was really looking forward to have a good reference book aiming at just to the mechanics of orthodontics while leaving the other important stuff out. And so when I saw this book I was hoping that this would be it. But for me, It didn't quite deliver since many (but not all) of the diagrams were very confusing when trying to explain a concept, especially when you start to read along more in the book. I REAAAALLY wanted to read and fully understand the whole book but unfortunately, I got to the point where it got too frustrating for me that I just stopped trying altogether. The words (fonts) are rather large and it's pretty easy to read but the literature is tied in with the figures and diagrams in order to explain the concepts but it was very hard for me to understand many of the them. I honestly think that this could of been addressed and improved with either adding more diagrams and figures to explain a concept or just clarifying on the ones that are already in the book (yes, it was vague). If you're an orthodontist, then maybe this book would make more sense to you and it could be more useful but if you're not (but rather a general dentist or other dental specialist), then this could be more confusing to you that you might just end up buying a different book to understand (as I have done). But I do like the book on how it tries to focus on just the mechanics of orthodontics but unfortunately, I just think that the book's level of explanation to fulfill the reader's comprehension was considerably lacking.
