After consistently seeing positive reviews, I've made Miracle-Gro for Christmas Trees Plant Food a yearly tradition. This affordable product works wonders on fresh-cut trees, helping them stay hydrated and maintain their vibrant green color throughout the season. While the effects are less noticeable on older trees from big box stores, the benefits on fresher trees make it worthwhile. I consider this product to be excellent insurance for prolonging the life and beauty of your Christmas tree investment. I plan to keep using it to ensure our holiday centerpiece remains splendid.

Our Christmas party was scheduled early this year so I had to put my tree up exceptionally early. I wanted to continue with a live tree, so researched a little further on how to make the tree last. I purchased this product actually anticipating it not working. I also research and found you should use hot water when watering your tree and keep it at least 2 inches deep. We put our tree up in November and at the end of December very few needles were dropping. I couldn’t say for sure that it was solely this product or perhaps a combination with the hot water that kept the sap loose but either way, the tree lived forever. I was very pleased with this product and will purchase it every year from now on.

We go out Christmas Tree hunting with a group of 4 other families. We all cut down our tree the same day and put it up the same day. I was the only one to use this product. Their trees were dropping needles like crazy before Christmas and mine looked great WEEKS after Christmas! I bought more to use for this years tree.

Seems to work. We've used this for two years now and we hardly get any needles falling from the tree.

I was worried initially but Miracle Gro has a great reputation on plant products.It arrived in 2 bottles, and it lasted for the entire season (for us the tree was up 5 weeks).It kept the tree healthy, and it didn't seem to dry out as much this year or have a significant lossof needles. We will buy again next year for sure.

Fantastic product. If you love a live Christmas tree, this liquid is a must have. Works from day one thru the season. Just keep watering the tree so it doesn’t dry out and this chemical does the rest.

The product works great, but the packaging desperately needs a redesign. There's no way I've found to dispense the liquid without it dripping on the packaging or the floor, and once it dries it becomes really sticky. I've taken to wiping down the bottle with a wet cloth after every use, and I still find it stuck to the counter the next day.

Appear to do as expected.

This was the first year we decided to have a real Christmas tree. We had no previous knowledge on how to care for one, and we were quite nervous of whether it would survive the season considering we bought it the first week of December. We used this product every day. Twice a day at the beginning when we first purchased the tree, and then once every day after that. Honestly, I do believe this product helped our tree stay alive. It has been up for a whole month with minimal needle falling and still remains up. Fingers crossed we can keep it for a little longer. Super happy and will definitely buy again next year!

Ok helped a bit

Did absolutely nothing for the tree. Tree still looked dried out after a week. Even with under floor heating turned off and watered tree everyday. Only need to knock the branches and the needles fall off. Only had the tree for just over a week and used this product as directed.

I have tried sugar and cola but nothing can compare to this stuff. My tree is in an area with little traffic actually touching it but we do have a dog and presents were being moved around under lower branches. I bought this Douglas Fir on Dec 6th and as of today, Jan 1st, it is still in tip top shape. I will have no issues getting to the Epiphany with Miracle Gro's help. The tree is still very fragrant as well.
