Usually my husband will wear it and I will adjust it for him as we’re on our walk. It is important to use the adjustment screws on the back plate to pivot and angle it just right if the sun is not straight up in the sky. The umbrella has taken quite a beating since we live in a windy place, and one of the poles has recently broken, but it hasn’t affected the overall use of the umbrella. And it just broke probably two months ago, so up until that point it nothing was broken even though we use it in the wind all the time.
