It is nice stainless (without mounting hardware as expected). I mounted on a 1/2" piece of plywood to test fit and adjusted the hole spacing until I got the right fit, then used that as my template for the final fit up. You definitely need to do this as it is a cam lock style and until it seats completely, you won't have the right fit. I'm happier with the fit than I hoped to be. I would definitely buy again.

hasps are great. non magnetic. my only gripe is the size of the hole for the lock. they should be slightly redesigned so a larger lock can be used.
