These cameras are great for the price. I replaced my brand new Night Owl cameras that came with the DVR kit I bought after Thanksgiving. Color quality is better, wider viewing angle, better night vision coverage and clearer image, what is there not to like? For an inexpensive system that is not the latest whiz bang new device, these perform very well. I still have 3 remaining Night Owl cameras that are functional, but have no intention on using them. Great delivery with Amazon and easy install. I am no camera expert and this is my first install of one of these DVR units with cameras, it was easy to figure out how to hook them up, (thanks YouTube). Just be sure that any camera you buy is for the correct DVR system, as I tried to replace the first defective original manufacturer camera with one purchased at the local Best Buy store, but they were for HD DVR's only. Thankfully Amazon had these online for 1/2 the price of the OEM equipment and it is ten times better for my application.

This is a pretty cheap camera. I was going to put out a dummy but found this inexpensive camera and figured I'd give it a shot. I have the camera under my soffet where it is protected from the rain, and heat from the sun. It has great daytime clarity! And the night vision turns night into day. Although the night vision is in gray scale, it is way better than I expected. I must say though that I have a street light at the end of my driveway, so it's not the ir leds that are providing the light ... they don't go as far. But the low light sensitivity of the camera was a delightful surprise. I can see things at night beyond my natural vision ... see in the dark, all the way across the street. Very happy. I wanted to have a longer range lens though, so I bought one on Amazon, but the original lens was glued in. So I emailed support to see if they had a camera with a 16mm lens, sadly they didn't and don't sell a camera that has a replaceable lens.

I am very happy with the display. It works every bit as well as the cameras that came with my system. I wanted more than four cameras and I have been working to purchase more as I can, this one came up as a deal on Amazon, so I purchased it. Now understand this is a camera for less than $20.00. So don't go thinking that this is going to suddenly allow your to read license plates in the dark. It is one that you should be able to offer to Law Enforcement a decent image of the individual(s) that you are looking to prosecute for whatever violation you feel they performed against you. I am not going to list the specs here, I am assuming that you can read and know what your surveillance system uses so that you are purchasing the correct camera to work with your system. This camera will need a siamese cable to attach to the camera to the DVR and Power supply (it does not come with any additional components). Again this is a camera only. It has the connection at its base to connect a standard barrel type power connection and a bnc connection for video. I did not include in any of my images this connection, but if you already have a CCTV system you know what I am talking about. This should not be a problem for you.

It doesn't have the image quality of a CCD camera but for a $19 CMOS camera the image quality is decent, my one complaint about the camera is it doesn't appear to have a 3.6 lens as stated, the viewing angle looks more like a 6mm lens. In all fairness though i will say I have had worse CMOS cameras that cost more, just wished it had the wide viewing angle i need......

Bought three of these cameras. Installed one which worked great and as expected for about three weeks. Then it quit displaying in color during bright, daylight hours, showing only a dark black and white image. I notified the seller, and they got back to me within a day. When I explained the problem, they told me to send them the receipt from Amazon and a picture from the camera, which I did. That was three weeks ago, and I have not gotten a response. I followed up with an email to them asking what their suggestion was to resolve this problem, and still no response. I would recommend DO NOT BUY these cameras! UPDATE: Zosi eventually contacted me by email and apologized for the delay in getting back to me. They sent a replacement unit which works great! As it turns out, the replacement unit is a wider angle which is perfect for that location. I'm very satisfied how everything turned out.

Cameras do not last they start pulsating on screen then discoloration shows up not even been hooked up 20 day! Don't buy this product. They don't even give you a 30 to 90 day defective window. It starts from the day you order. Not the day you receive! Faulty product do not buy!!

I agree with most of the other reviews. Came 7 days after 2 were ordered. Shipped from China, so technically kind of fast. Very nice surprising picture quality, way excellent night vision. Can see in the dark from one end of the house to the other 60 feet away. Haven't permanently mounted either yet, and have only tried 1 at a time by VCR. Looks more grainy with dim indoor light and it prefers to immediately switch to night mode when it's slightly too dim. It sees indoor light from Daylight fluorescent bulbs especially clear though, I haven't tried it outdoors. The bnc cables with rca adapters and 2.1mm 12 volt 500ma or greater amp power adapter make a single camera cost around $20 more, but you can also get a 4 or 8 headed adapter for several. Still low priced and beyond expectations.

Auch ist das Bild bei wenig Licht, bevor sie auf Schwarz-Weiß umschaltet, stark verrauscht. Im Schwarz-Weiß Modus macht sie gute Bilder und die IR-Ausleuchtung ist ausreichend. Das installieren ist dank der Formatumschaltung zwischen Analog-D1 (FBAS), AHD, TVI und CVI sehr einfach. Die Kamera wird im Standardformat Analog-D1 geliefert, dadurch funktioniert jeder kleine Monitor. Anschließend wird durch Betätigung des Joysticks das gewünschte Bildformat eingestellt. Fazit: Für eine Überwachung zu Hause einer Hofeinfahrt, einer Eingangstür oder im Garten ist diese Kamera vollkommen ausreichend. Wer jedoch weite Flächen und große Hallen überwachen möchte, der sollte doch etwas mehr Geld ausgeben und in professionelle Überwachungstechnik investieren.

I have an eight channel dvr with four cams. This cam hooked right up, no issues, out of the box.

Decent quality camera. I bought it to replace a much more expensive camera which recently failed. The quality of this camera is easily as good as the more expensive one and the night performance is very good indeed in quite a challenging location. Easy to fit because it has the standard male BNC connection for video and female socket for power (and takes 12V at 500mA) - so exactly what you would expect from an Analogue CCTV camera. The construction is quite solid and the camera looks the part. A nice feature is the hood at the front seems to be integral with the case which means it would be hard for a spider to take up residence under there (they love the warmth given off by cameras and if there is any space open anywhere in the body will move in). This is a big feature for me because they build webs which obscure images and mess up motion detection no end. The position adjustment (tilt etc) is not obvious at first but the knurled wheel on the base allows for rotation and locking, there is tilt adjustment in the stem holding the camera to the base and a further adjustment which allows rotation of the camera body relative to the stem. For the money it is very impressive and probably a quarter of what you would have paid for a similar spec camera 4 years ago.
