I desperately wanted to like these. I read the reviews and bought 5 in different colors right off the bat. Alas, they are not the microfiber I was expecting. My daughter’s analogy to them feeling like leather was spot on. The towel has zero plushness and doesn’t dry water from the body well and while you’re running it on your body it feels like it catches. Not a pleasant experience.

I love this towel! It gets 4.5 stars instead of five because I was expecting it to be a smidge bigger for being called an XL towel, and I got a smudge on the white part that doesnt want to come out in the wash : ( . Other than that- the towel is great! It dries me well enough to throw on a beach cover (or fully change into new dry clothes). The towel itself dries fairly quickly if you lay it out or hang it up. It is very easy to roll it up to fit back inside of its case- and the case itself can be clipped to a backpack by its little loop! Overall- definitely a good buy : )

I just got this AWESOME microfiber XL beach towel from Venture 4th. I needed something that would be easier to use than the big bulky towels that have been taking up space in my trunk. I like to take it with me when I travel since it is simple and rolls up small. I just toss it in the backseat and go! I have found that I have used it for all sorts of things. I've used it on an impromptu beach outing, a picnic in the park and also at the gym. What makes it so useful is that it is fast drying and anti-microbial. It doesn't hold dirt or sand which is perfect for me, since I put it down on my leather seats and put my things on top of it so nothing gets dirty or scraped up.  It is easy to clean and doesn't leave any lint. I already bought two of these so that I can swap them out with one another as I go and I am looking to get a few more to give as gifts for my family to add to their car kits as well. I I have several products from Venture 4th and I always find myself coming back for more.

So, I was fairly dubious after receiving this item that is would successfully serve as a beach towel, since it looked and felt more like a blanket (and an unfamiliarly textured one at that). My initial impression could not have been further from reality.The towel had great absorption capabilities as promised but beyond that, it simply provided a whole new experience of toweling off at the beach!The silky and thin microfiber fabric efficiently whisked sand away when drying and instead of feeling the sand rub into our skin like sandpaper while drying off (like all other towels feel) something about this fabric seemed to lift the sand up off the skin first, and you never felt the sand again when drying! It felt so good on our skin that even as I was sunning myself, I would use the towel to wipe my face and chest and NEVER felt that scratchy sand feeling. I used it even when I didn't have a real need, just because it felt so nice on my skin!Even on a super windy day, when sand was blowing into everything and getting into every single crevice, covering all surfaces with a thin and invisible layer of sand, a quick wipe with this towel and it was gone! Sunglasses, water bottles, sunscreen containers, you name it, we tried it, always with success!We were actually giddy with amazement and it became a game on the beach, to see if someone could find an item that the towel couldn't perfectly clean with one swipe. The towel won. BTW it is hands down the BEST for cleaning phone and tablet screens of not just sand but fingerprints, even greasy or sticky fingerprints! Yay! Seriously, what kind of miracle microfiber IS THIS?!My mother in law noticed the towel and after inspecting it with suspicion, she seemed underwhelmed as I rattled on and on about the wonders of "The towel". But, when my 7 yr old ran past her knocking sand on to her iced beverage cup (covered in condensation), she grabbed a corner of the towel to clean it, looked back at the towel, then at the cup and threw her head back and howled laughing. She said " Now I see what all the fuss is about." Then she tried to steal my new best friend " The Towel"Besides its miracle absorption and sand removing tenacity, I have to say how I LOVE how tiny I can fold it up! It is so lightweight and thin, that I could actually take it anywhere.At night, we liked to walk to the beach to fly kites, look for shells, watch the stars come out etc. But no one wanted to haul the beach gear back down, not even just a towel or two to sit on, we had already DONE that battle during the day! Once again, " The Towel" was the answer! I simply rolled it up and slipped it into my small cross body purse and once we got to the beach and layed it out, it was big enough for me, my husband and my 7 yr old to sit on and watch the waves and relax. A quick shake and it released every grain of sand, allowing me to roll it right back up and put it back into my purse, no worries of sand getting into my lipstick or anything else in my purse. I just can't wrap my head around how awesome this thing is!Oh, and the quick drying is impossible to understand until you have seen it. It would be soaked to the point of needing to be wrung out, but I would lay it over my beach chair in the sun, and in the time I took a quick jaunt up to the boardwalk for a smoothy and returned, my buddy "The Towel" was dry and warm and ready for me to commence with lazy beach lounging.I know this is kind of an over the top review BUT this is kind of an over the top product, so it deserves it.The customer service provided by Venture 4th was also just amazing. They had sent an email to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. At the time, we had not used it yet, however I was concerned the item was mislabeled on Amazon as it appeared to be more of a beach blanket than a towel. The owner of the company replied personally and explained it is a towel, just something new that I was unfamiliar with. She assured me the towel would be absorbent and she was confident I would be satisfied if I gave it a chance. And if after using it, if I was not 100% satisfied she would provide a full refund immediately. That was impressive, that she would allow me to use it on vacation and if it didn't meet my expectations it would be refunded?!? i couldn't turn that offer down and I promised her a full review once I had a chance to really use it. As you can see, I certainly do not need a refund. I am ordering more for the rest of the family as well as for Christmas gifts for my beach loving friends and family. This is an absolute WINNER!To Venture 4th: Thank you for this fantastic product. It has made my life a bit easier, and in this day and age that is shockingly rare and sincerely appreciated.

This towel is a perfect addition to my gym bag! I wanted a towel that was big and comfortable enough to wrap all the way around me, and not have anything hanging out, after showering at the gym. I also wanted something that was more compact so it didn't fill my entire bag, but was also going to dry quickly so I wasn't in the position where I had to wash and dry this towel EVERY night!This towel is that! It is very soft against the skin and I can almost wrap it around my body twice! It is very easy to roll up, put back in its bag and pack up into your gym bag/duffle. As long as I lay it flat while I am getting dressed and packing up to leave, the towel will usually be dry and I can roll it up and pack it away for the next day! The mesh bag it comes in helps the towel breathe and even finish drying if it's not quite 100% dry when put away in the bag. It also helps to keep the towel fresh and not musty like cotton towels can so often get. Easy to wash, easy to dry. I am much more impressed than I thought I would be! I plan on purchasing at least 1 or 2 more!

If you’re looking for a compact, travel-friendly towel, don’t hesitate! This towel is perfect for a trip because it’s very compact, and it dries quickly. It’s amazing in a gym bag because it’s not bulky. My family needs to streamline packing for our beach trips and we are ordering one of these for each person. It makes beach towel packing so much more efficient, which is important because we don’t have much room in our trunk for extras on beach road trips. The fabric feels like the type that won’t hold sand from the beach, which is a huge bonus because I hate when we bring sand into our beach rentals and it gets all over the floors and the furniture. My husband wants a few to use in his gym bag. The towels are different than traditional terry cloth towels, but SO soft, and packaged very nicely, with a tissue paper liner and a convenient carrying bag. Do yourself a favor and order this towel now!

No esperaba una toalla tradicional pero tampoco imaginaba recibir lo que es básicamente una sábana.De primera impresión la calidad del producto es cuestionable (de entrada, la bolsa en la que viene se rompió al sacarla, aún siendo cuidadoso), pero seguramente la eficacia del producto la podré comprobar hasta usarla en la playa y poner a prueba el supuesto "secado rápido".No te la recomiendo si estás buscando una toalla más tradicional o incluso del tipo de toalla de secado rápido como las que encuentras en tiendas deportivas tipo Decathlon.

Realmente seca muy bien, después de q se seca uno se siente húmedo pero te secas y realmente absorbe muy recomendable

Menos brumosas, ligeras, buena absorción, se secan rápido al sol cuando estas en alberca

Buenas bonitas y r se secan muy rápido

Es perfecta para ir a la playa. Muy practica, no se le pega la arena. Me encantó!
