Sturdy, Reliable and Can Pick Up Anything
This is by far the best picker-upper on the market. Solid, reliable and well made. To avoid bending down and straining the back we use it to pick up everything that falls on the floor -- clothes, TV remotes, coins, napkins, doggie toys, even small crumbs of food. We purchased one for every room in our house. We still have the first 2 we bought over 5 years ago and they work perfectly. It's rare to find any product on the market that works so well. Highly recommend.

Back saver for sure!
OK, I am old (70), but try to stay active by walking. I enhance the experience by picking up roadside litter. The first couple of times I did this, I was worn out with the constant bending and standing. So, I bought two of these (one for me, one for my walking partner). We both absolutely LOVE these things. Just the right length to pick something up without bending over. Also, lets us reach those items that are a little too far down or up a slope or in a ditch to reach. The pliable tips on the gripper portion are excellent for picking up small items: cigarette butts, pieces of broken glass, bits of paper. The gripper gets them all, and easily. I only rated it at 4 stars for sturdiness because it seems so light and potentially fragile, but in fairness, we have used them a couple of times to lever ourselves from kneeling to standing positions. They have held up. I do wonder how long the flexible grabber portion will remain intact, because it is used a LOT.My walking partner and I have used them 5 times, picking up litter (including lots of glass beverage bottles) along 5 or 6 miles of road in the country (mostly forest lands), and some city streets. We have filled about 7, 13-gallon trash bags with litter of all types. The grabber is still working. If they break or wear out, I will purchase these, again. We also like the grip portion which uses your entire hand to operate the mechanism....no hand fatigue from constant gripping.

Works well - light weight for all day use.
I use this everyday as a school custodian. The handle is easy to use and won't tire you out like traditional pistol grips. Length is perfect and it is light weight. I use it all shift for picking up paper - everything to 8 X 10 sheets to little pieces of paper, even dropped brooms. Do yourself a favor, get this and save your back!

Best Grabber Ever!
I worked with elderly people for a long time and have seen and used all sorts of grabbers, this is the best one I've ever used. I'm short so I bought my first one to reach items in my kitchen that were on the top shelf. I can grab heavy glass objects with this grabber and they don't slip. I bought my second one after buying a new large capacity washing machine, the bottom was so deep I couldn't reach socks on the bottom without diving into the washing machine. The grabber works great for this purpose and I no longer have to worry about falling into my washer and getting stuck. When I found out my 92 year old dad was getting on his knees to pick things up off the floor I knew what he needed and I bought him one of these grabbers which he has been loving. The grabber is sturdy enough that it can handle heavy objects but I can also pick up small items - a dime flat on the floor, an aspirin, a piece of paper. I bought the first one four years ago, use it almost every day and it's still in great working condition. I highly recommend this grabber!

Great ergonomic design
I like this grabber choice very much. Comes in many lengths, is easy to squeeze the handle grip and grab onto things very successfully. Light weight and sturdy. I laugh at all the tasks I use it for! (The cat does not care for it) ; )..I think I will use this for many years.

Best grabber ever!
I was expecting this to break after two or three uses, but it didnt! I have had it for two weeks now and it is amazing. I can do some of my chores without feeling helpless. I had hernia surgery and was advised to not lift heavy things. Since I can't bend, this grabber helped get things I normally can't reach during my healing process. I was even able to do laundry. The only downside to this is you.have.to have a strong hands for the grabber to hold whatever you.are trying to get. Since that isn't a problem for me it worked out perfectly. If you.have weak hands. This is not for you. I strongly recommend this 👌

Very good pick up device...while it lasted
We have used this item for 16 months continously, are addicted to it and cannot live without it!We especially like the extra length, the light weight and the handle design which allows for better twisting and vertical lifting control than other models. The rubber coated fingertips permit good precision and help pick up smaller items and paper that is flat against the floor--which is really handy. Since we use it so often we service it regularly (every few weeks) by checking the screws for tightness and lubricating the moving parts using a teflon-based self-drying lubricant (no greasy mess). This makes it much quieter and smoother to operate.Negatives: The unit did break where the aluminium tube connects to the plastic handle but was easily fixed by placing a screw-down pipe clamp on the tube near the handle and tightening it just right (not too loose, not too tight) so that the tube stays attached to the handle. If the unit will be used daily we recommend placing clamps near the handle before it breaks--this should help it last much longer. If I were the manufacturer, I would re-engineer the tube-to-handle joint to be much more robust since it is currently the point of highest failure/greatest stress on the unit.Other than that, we love it and will be purchasing more in the future!July 27, 2018 UPDATEOne of the two pickup fingers broke off due to repeated use fatigue rendering the device unrepairable and unusable. Close examination of the failed part indicates a design flaw in the mold for the pick up fingers which concentrates stress through an area the thickness of a dime--it was just a matter of time until it failed. This design flaw appears to be the 2nd highest stress point in the unit. We can no longer recommend this unit until these two design flaws are resolved. Should the manufacturer eliminate these two weaknesses we would consider purchasing this model again. Until then, we are trying the Unger Nifty Nabber 36" with all metal pickup fingers.
