It's more than adequate for that temperature range and is comfortable with plenty of cushioning.PROSIt's really big. I'm 5', 125 lbs and I have plenty of space and it would fit a 6' person easily. It comes with a ton of features including adjustable hood and neck, two strong velcro strips for the internal and external part of the bag at the neck, and a little zippered pouch on the inside chest for your valuables. It packs down to about a 6" by 12" into the case easily and you can use the compression straps to get it a smaller. Packing it down to a small size takes practice but you can definitely do it. It's pretty dense and hefty and will definitely keep you warm. The compression pack it comes is good quality and hasn't come close to ripping.CONSIt's kind of hefty so if you're thinking about getting a down sleeping bag for the weight and the warmth, you might want to go with that option. At this price point, though, this sleeping bag more than does the job. Packing, like I said before, can take a little practice. I don't think I was able to pack it down to the original size it came in.Overall, I really like this sleeping bag. I can imagine using this in 30 degree weather and being totally fine.It's very light, so it makes it great for backpacking.I have a perfect amount of room in it as a 6'3, 170lb man.CONS:The zipper feels a little cheap. It zips and unzips way too easily, therefore occasionally coming unzipped while you're sleeping (but only if it's not all the way to the top). Pretty much my only complaint about the sleeping bag so far.The COMPRESSION SACK is far too small! It came factory packed, and then the next time I went to pack the bag, I could hardly fit it.Every time I go to pack this it's a chore. The sack is too small, and the straps are far too short. So, I bought another of each.It allows me to sleep in a t-shirt at 40F on my sleeping pad. It's a very warm pad Exped Megamat LXW 10 pad rated R9.5, which I enthusiastically recommend because it's like sleeping on a heater, but still this thing is nice and will keep you warm if the rest of your gear is appropriate. It is 39F right now and so I am not exaggerating. I may have slept in a t-shirt at a slightly lower temperature as well.This bag packs very compact. I don't even bother with its stuff sack for daily use, but that makes it even more compact.
