I’m very happy with this. Don’t listen to the reviews that say the needle is broken. I thought mine was broken, but I wasn’t pushing down hard enough. I tried pushing down harder on my table and it ejected the needle just as it should. I ended up having to use an insulin needle to draw the blood. It was moderately hard work, so make sure you don’t chicken out and not push hard enough on the lancet. Test wise, it said I am O Negative. I have no way of saying if this is true or false, but that is my result. It seems very clear. I liked it a lot and am going to buy more for the family.

I don't care so much about the nutrition lessons from this. I just wanted to know for myself and my family what blood types we have if the need to know ever came up. This was simple, crazy fast, and easy to read. Blood sample clumps it's not compatible (why a wrong blood transfusion will kill you, didn't know till I seen the clumping! Lol), if it blends it a match. Crazy simple. 👍👍👍

I had forgotten what my blood type is and used this kit to remind myself, and the result was as expected. The lancet hurts a tiny bit but it's so quick that it's over with before you know it. It's easy to use, I had no problem getting the result, no snafus with the process. The results were very clear and easy to interpret.

The plastic part around the lancet was broken when I opened the box, making it near impossible to use. I had to pry open/break the plastic casing and manually prick my finger. Read the directions carefully before use and keep them handy during use as well. It comes with a diagram to help understand your results, but I personally needed someone else’s opinion as I found it somewhat difficult to read.

This is a simple, instant test that lets you know your blood type, including RH positive or negative. The one thing I did not use was the lancet that came with the kit. I had a separate pen type lancet, which was easier to use. First, you must put a drop of distilled water onto each of the 4 test circles, then you put a drop of blood on each of those 4 circles. Initially, it was difficult for me to scoop the blood and place it on the test paper using the provided white plastic sticks. However, I got the hang of it after the first one. Make sure you get a full drop of blood for each of the 4 circles on the test paper. Once the blood/water/chemical mixture is swirled around on each of the 4 circles according to the instructions, then compare it to the images provided on the instruction sheet and you will find your result. There are cases were the test is inconclusive, according to the instructions. Fortunately, that was not a problem for me.

Works just how it should. I bought three packs for fear of messing it up. Which I was right to do. First of all, I know my blood type but wanted to know my Husband's for if there ever is an emergency where he needs blood. I ended up breaking the needle from the first pack, so I used a sewing needle to puncture my finger to still use the card. So I tried using the little cups to put the blood on the card but I feel like that obstructed the results as not enough blood got on the card. So I pitched that card and tried again. For the second pack, I didn't break the needle so I used a different finger, and squeezed a drop of blood directly onto each of the circles and used the little cups to mix it around. Doing that, I got the results on the top card pictured. I knew I was A+ so when I got those results I knew I had it right this time. I did the same as I did with the second pack with the third pack for my husband and got the results on the bottom card pictured for him. So now we know we are both A+ blood types! I don't recommend using the little cups to put blood on the card as I didn't get enough blood onto the circles... but that could also be because I used a sewing needle due to my breaking the sterile needle provided from the first pack. As long as you follow directions, you should get a good result.

This will not show you your blood type. I read the instructions several times and understood them clearly. I worked in a clean, well-lit area. I laid out everything and followed the instructions exactly, and not one of the 4 fields reacted. Perhaps if I had about 20 sheets and hours to practice I could make it work? Perhaps a trained lab professional could make it work? I doubt even that. Instructions say "an insufficient amount of liquid is the most common reason for dubious results" but if I used more blood or more water, I never could have dried the card without spilling out of the circles. It was difficult to get much blood using the lancet provided, and the 'eldon sticks they provided were difficult to use or understand. Wished I would have just flushed my $15 down the toilet, It would have been less bother.

Some of the reviews called out broken needles and low quality product. I did not have that experience. I was careful (per the instructions provided) and very easily pulled the protective cover from the needle without breaking it. Instructions provided were clear and the process took just a few minutes. I was able to confirm my bloodtype (which i knew previously). Results were as expected. Worth the price. Good purchase.

These are great! I ordered two, one for each of my parents. Results are quick and instructions are clear and simple to follow. Great product.

Simple instructions - just watch the video on the web - no issues with the lancet, other than quite tough to remove the protective plastic, it required more force than I would have imagined and I thought I was going to break it. I think a lot of issues I read about in the reviews stem from the fact that many people are being a little timid when pricking their fingers, which is natural. This is an accurate blood-type test kit and relatively easy to use. My only error was not realising how much I was bleeding and I had to wash my table cloth afterwards !

The instructions were pretty clear, and after reading through a couple of times, I did the test with no hitches. The results seemed pretty clear, so I feel I got the proper classification.

Worth watch the video prior to the test but instructions are pretty clear and easy. Was not looking forward to the pricking part but completely painless... Had forgotten I'm hemo and bled all over. But results were straight forward... Will buy an other as we know not a child blood type... They informed me at hospital that you have to be a mind reader that the test isn't provided unless you ask for it...10$.... At departure. But had no problem pricking his foot for other congenital unnecessary ones though... Went to his rescue in the middle of the night, the nurse telling me it's not painful in front of the crying baby bleeding heel! Just glad I will be able to do it myself for him! No pain
