The pills are small and easy to carry with you.If you have issues with tonic water or quinine, you will get sick. A friend of mine is allergic to quinine and had a terrible reaction.I suffer from arch, and back of calves and thighs leg cramps. Two often give relief in minutes. Other times I might have to take 2-3 doses over 20-30 minutes to get relief.Note that the pills are rather prone to crumbling. At the end of a 100 bottle, I will find enough loose powder to equal 2 or 3 pills. I just dump onto my palm and lick it up.I do recommend these, just that the pills are fragile and tend to chip and crumble. I mostly keep my bottle on my nightstand and that helps prevent crumbling because the bottle stays pretty motionless most of the time.

Sometimes I get leg cramps so bad that I look like an Olympic pole vaulter as I shoot out of bed from a prone position. These, along with tonic water, have diminished my pole vaulting bedtime maneuvers, thank goodness.
