Our RV was so dark, the existing bulbs were so tiny. It was not over 13 years old, but LED light technology has made huge advances since our baby rolled off the line. We had to change out fixtures but found great ones on Amazon. It was well worth the work.

Great and efficient low voltage bulb. I continue to use OpalRay bulbs for all of my projects because of their excellent ability to dim. Also note that this review is for the the 8 filament model. (They also offer a 6 filament model, but the more filaments it has, the more antique it looks in my opinion.)Here are the specs for this bulb:at 5.0v it draws <1ma - begins to light dimlyat 5.2v it draws 5ma - dim, but pleasant ambianceat 5.4v it draws 40ma - brighter, still ok to stare atat 5.6v it draws 230ma - pretty brightat 5.8v it draws 450ma - very bright, hard to look atat 6.0v it draws 800ma - blindingat 7.0v it draws 1200ma - max brightnessat 8.0v it draws 1000ma - max brightnessat 9.0v it draws 800ma - max brightnessat 10.0v it draws 670ma - max brightnessat 11.0v it draws 590ma - max brightnessat 12.0v it draws 525ma - max brightnessInterestingly, the bulb is least efficient at around 7v to 8v, so either try to drive it at either 6v or below, or 10v or higher.

Excellent customer service! One of the bulbs was broken in shipping. Upon notification and shipping address they immediately sent out new bulbs which I received 3 days later. I have never had such a quick response. The bulbs do exactly what I wanted them for. Great company to deal with!

I used the product in a street light where I wired in a "wig-wag" control to alternate the Red and green.These are as bright as I expected, for 600 lumens. Inquiries were responded to more quickly than most sellers. The E-26 base makes an adaptation easy; the common E-26/27 sockets are more readily available.Can be used in AC however the seller says, the closer to "24 V A.C." the more likely to not last as long.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the color of this bulb but one rod started flickering at about 40 hours. Hope it goes dead the flickering is annoying.

Originally had trouble with first two shipments and got a refund. The seller took it on himself to send me 4 free bulbs. These bulbs are working great and look wonderful. I guess anyone could make a bad batch, but not everyone would make up for it. Honest company that I would buy from agIn.
