More Milk!
I purchased this after the recommendation of my lactation consultant to increase my milk supply. I was pumping about 20-25 oz per day and after a few days I saw an increase in my supply by a few ounces. Then after about two weeks is where I saw more of an increase. I’ve been taking it for a little over a month now and I pump 27-35oz per day. I will definitely keep taking it to keep my supply up to meet my baby’s needs.

Best. Pill. Ever.
This is by far the best supplement for nursing moms. I have struggled with my last 3 babies to produce enough milk to feed them. When I was about to deliver my 4th, I was so determined to BF this baby that I made sure to have a Lactation consultant come to my room right after her birth. I explained my low milk supply issue to the consultant, and she recommended these Malunggay tablets. Best $26 I ever spent!!! I have been successfully feeding my baby my breastmilk exclusively now for 11 months, and I owe it all to this miracle pill! Don’t hesitate buy it now!

Didn’t seem to work for me
I used these when I was noticing a dip in my milk production but I don’t feel like they helped much. They didn’t have any bad flavor and they were easy to take but I don’t feel like I received the results I was hoping to with them

Update 12 months in...
After being recommended fenugreek by a well-meaning friend (and it not working and causing stomach aches for my LO), I got advice from a lactation consultant who recommended malunggay. She specifically said try malunggay first and if that doesn't work, then mother's milk plus. I never had to use mother's milk plus. It takes time for this to work. Maybe 2-4 weeks. I took 2 per day, per the consultant's recommendation. Look at the instructions carefully; they recommend more if you weigh more, and they advise to only drink 1-2 oz of water at the time of taking it. It was one of those things where I didn't realize it was even working but realized I was supplementing less, and some days none. I decided to increase to (3) pills per day and got over supply. Once it started working, I ran out of pills and thought, maybe I don't need to take this anymore. Slowly but surely I noticed a decrease in supply. I started again and the process started over. 12 months in I still take 1-2 per day. Couple more tips. Read the book "The Breastfeeding Mother's Guide to Making More Milk." Got some real helpful tips. Also, my lactation consultant didn't seem to think I had supply issues. Somewhere along the way I realized that it was a slow letdown issue. In the early days LO would give up if the milk didn't come right away. LO eventually learned to be patient. This meant I tried switching each breast twice and if I still had nothing, I gave supplement - at some point when you have a sobbing baby at your breast, withholding food is just cruel - it's not about one's ego to exclusively breastfeed. LO learning to trust the breast was a combination of giving 2 oz first so that LO wasn't starving and more likely to be patient for a letdown, taking these supplements, and LO would fall asleep at the breast and cough because of an unexpected letdown which would often cause a surprised smile. Good luck with your journey!

someone with a poor appetite or trying to diet after having your baby ...
It increased my milk supply but dropped my blood sugar. I'm 28, 5'2", and 110 (this to say that I'm healthy). Just be warned that it malungaay has this side effect and it's a serious one if you are a diabetic, someone with a poor appetite or trying to diet after having your baby (who isn't). I nearly fainted one afternoon as I was walking around my neighborhood. I felt very anxious and shaky. At first I thought it was a anxiety attack but I knew I had no reason to be having one. I've never had low blood sugar before but I'm an RN and see it all the time at work and knew that was what must have been happening. I came home and drank 2 tablespoons of sugar in water and laid on the couch. I felt better within 15 minutes. I'm giving it 4 stars because it did work for me to increase my milk supply but I took one star away because it doesn't advertise what could be a deadly side effect. If you buy this please keep some hardcandy with you.

Increased my supply!
At about six weeks postpartum, my supply dipped for some unknown reason. I exclusively breastfeed and had also been pumping once a day so that my husband could occasionally give the kiddo a bottle while I'm cooking dinner, in the shower, etc. With the dip in my supply, Baby was still getting fed, but I wasn't producing enough to pump extra anymore. It was so stressful and I felt like I couldn't step away from the baby for even a minute. After a lot of research, I decided to try this stuff out in combination with increasing my water intake, and I'm very happy with the results! Within a couple of days, I began producing enough to pump an extra bottle, and even begin building a freezer stash by using my Haakaa to catch the increased letdown on the other side while nursing. This has has significantly boosted my supply!

This product is amazing - don’t buy it from Amazon
I love this product. It is amazing, it works, it’s a life saver. I will not be ordering this from Amazon again, however. Amazon’s delivery “guarantee” is a joke. Several times now I’ve paid extra to have this product delivered quickly only to receive notice of a delay just after the guaranteed delivery period expires. Ridiculous. From now on I will buy this and other products I regularly use directly from the company that makes them, or from local stores. Paying extra is worth the peace of mind I will get from knowing I won’t be left without something I need, in this case something I need to feed my baby.

It wasn't effective for me because it didn't work and it was too expensive.

This product worked great for me! With my first baby I tried every supplement and nothing really worked. I ended up triple feeding and had to supplement with formula. This time around, I have been able to exclusively BF! I've only been using for a few days, but since using this product, my breasts feel fuller, let down feels stronger, baby seems more satisfied and I have even been able to collect a little extra for my freeze stash! Every woman is different, so this might not work for everyone, but I would absolutely reccomend giving it a try! Only downside is price. I'm taking 6 a day (might try reducing to 4 a day) so a bottle only lasts 10 days. But at this point, I am so overjoyed that it's working that I am fine with the price.

I tried the moringa supplement but it did not have the desired effect for me.

My LTC recommended me these capsules to help with my milk supply. They did not work for me. I didn’t even notice a slight increase in my milk supply. I even bought another bottle to see if they would work over time. They are costly. Just didn’t work for me.
