Great for a small group game in the classroom
These jumping frogs works great for a cheap and easy incentive for small groups in the classroom. I use them as a quick game when students read words that contain our phonics patterns that they are learning. They get a frog for each word they read correctly. Then they get to try to jump the frog into a "pond" (bowl). They love it and I love that it doesn't require any prep from me. I already had a few frogs that were more primitive looking than these that I got at the Dollar Tree. These jumping frogs are a little more fun than the other version. This was a worthwhile purchase!

A lot of fun
My 4 year old grandson loves playing with the jumping frogs. It is something fun he can do on his own or with me. Easy to do and great for his fine motor skills development. Iโve been trying different things to help improve his hand strength and fine motor skills for writing.

This was what I was looking for.
These 'jumping' frogs are a big hit. I looked at another item which included a bucket to land the frogs in but the price was double, so I decided to go for the 36 frog set which basically does the same thing. I have a bucket here so why do I need to buy another? Plus this is for little hands so I doubt the bucket is going to be a factor for some years. There's a small tab in between the frog's back legs so you just press it down, let up, and away they fly. This is done better on a hard floor and not a carpet. It took a few demonstrations for a 2 year old to get the method using just her thumb. When the game is over I store the frogs in a baggies. One star off as a couple of the frogs are missing heads and front feet. They still work, but they have the appearance of turkeys ready to be stuffed for thanksgiving. My set came in 5 colours and the numbers were not evenly distributed. Green, blue, pink, and two colours of orange. Anyway for the small price tag this is a great introduction of the world of games.

Just ok
A lot thinner than others I have played with, but they work fine & a lot fun with the littles. Glad they put extras in because there were 8-10 that were in half.

Flippin' good time!
I have no kids but I have two cats who, at 3 yrs old still love to play...They're like children in the way that they can get bored with their toys in no time so I make homemade toys occasionally & buy a few small toys now & then. I know these could possibly hurt a tiny kitten in some way but my cats love to watch me flip them up & they catch them or hit them & love playing with them. Since I know they're not made for animals...I only leave them out when I'm in the same room in case they swallow or chew on them. They haven't yet but I can't be sure that will never happen. So I'm careful. They were worth the money & if they get bored, I'll put them away for a while & then bring them out later.
